I love a "no make-up look" and this is what I use to achieve it:
I find the JI pressed base perfect to cover up imperfections, give SPF and look natural. I use the flocked sponge on areas that need more coverage or that have larger pores.
The Vincent Longo Lip/cheek gel is perfect for a long-lasting natural effect. I dab a little on my cheeks, lips, eyelid-crease and bridge of nose.
After the stain on my lips, I put on my recent HG gloss- Lipfusion in clear. It gives a long-lasting gloss and smoothes out lines in the lips. I love it.
I tint my lashes every other month, recently with the 1000 hour lash kit. I use the Ardell growth serum daily to shape my lashes and brows (waiting for Lucia to arrive and will add that too to the process). Last, I use a fine brush and apply some eye-shadow (Jane Iredale cream to powder shadow in brown) very close to the eyelashes and smudge a little.
To finish it off, I spritz some toner on top to hold the make-up and to look rosy and dewy fresh.
What are your "natural" make-up tips?

Thank you Happyhippie! I love your routine. Mine is actually pretty similar, although I do have to add a touch of soft brown eyeliner on my lower lid to fill in a few gaps. Even though I have been using the Ardell for over a month now, I don't find that it has filled them in or see any signs of any new growth for that matter. Once day I hope to add the Lucia to see if I can boost my lashes.
I also use the 1000 hour lash tint as well for my blonde tips. I don't wear any foundation except around my eyes and one stupid broken cap on my cheek. I've never been able to wear foundation all over but I guess I'm fortunate that I don't feel I need to. On my eyes I use just a slight bit of light brown eye shadow, my Ardell and a bit of Discovery Lash for fullness. I also use a light peach/pink for cheeks and highlights.
Lips are my biggest challenge. They are naturally very pale and I don't feel I can get away with just a clear gloss. I'm thinking I'll try the Vince Longo lip stain next time I make it to a Sephora. I do love my clear lipfusion but always wear a colored gloss over it or people start asking me if I feel okay. ![Mad](images/smiles/mad.gif) |

FYI - ULTA also carries Vincent Longo, so if you have one close by you won't need to make a special trip to Sephora! |

Carekate - I went to Ulta yesterday when I got back in town and they didn't have the lip/cheekstain. The only Vincent Longo items they had was a small display of a summer collection or something like that. The Ulta by me is not very big so maybe that's why. I guess I'll have to make the long haul to Sephora this weekend. ![Rolling Eyes](images/smiles/rolleyes.gif) |

Bummer! It my local Sephora, they have both the small, special “Summer Collection” display of Vincent Longo products, then they have his complete product range in another aisle in the store. Sorry for getting your hopes up, but the VL lip/cheek stain is worth the effort of tracking it down! |

Carekate - I forgot to mention that the sales lady at Sephora did tell me that she just read that Victoria Secret catalogs were now going to be carrying the Vincent Longo line. Of course, who wants to pay for shipping when you can just go down the street and pick it up yourself. ![Confused](images/smiles/confused.gif) |

But fab for those of us who don't have a Sephora down the street, or order from VS anyway! ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

Carekate - Okay so I finally made it out to Sephora yesterday and after testing each color on my hand, decided on Liquid Kiss. I didn't try these on my lips, since I didn't want to walk around the mall the rest of the day with 4 colors on my lips.
So after making it to my car, I wiped off my gloss and put a light layer on. While I have to agree that this is a great product, I'm so disappointed to say that this color is just not right for me. I am a brunette with light brown eyes and fair skin. All of my makeup is very neutral (i.e. light brown/taupe eyeshadow, natural rose blush, etc.). Unfortunately, liquid kiss was not natural at all on me. It was too much of a rasberry *pink*, not a natural pink. But as I've mentioned before, I have VERY pale lips, so maybe that's why it looks so much brighter on me.
I thought about Cupid's Breath, but I've never been able to wear anything with orange in it. It looks AWFUL on me!
Any advice on what I might try next? |

TAMgirl99... That's too bad! Can you layer something on top of it? |

I tried layering it a bit with some pale pink gloss, but it was still too bright. Even with layering, the point was to have a natural color left on my lips when the gloss wore off.
With the Liquid Kiss it looks like that faded/stained effect you get after wearing a bright red/pink lipstick. I can't stand lipsticks that leave that awful faded stain behind. This is probably why I haven't worn actual lipsticks in over 3 years. I'm a gloss girl now ![Cool](images/smiles/cool.gif) |
