"Put shine on hold with this invisible oil blotting powder from Laura Geller. The Matte Maker Invisible Oil Blotting Powder comes with a special fan brush to help achieve a flawlessly matte look with no dryness. Suitable for all skin tones and types, the powder goes on clear for a natural appearance, leaving skin looking beautiful."
This is only a brief review as I didn't really give the product a thorough trial before returning it.
I ordered this product in the hope that it would help prevent my face from getting oily during the day. It didn't. I tried it for a couple of days and it didn't perform any better than the T LeClerc powder I'd been using previously. I was also horrified to discover when reading the ingredients that right at the top of the list was talc.
It's a fine, white powder that comes in a compact with a mirror and a small fan brush. It didn't leave a chalky appearance but within a couple of hours of applying it my face was looking oily again. For £14 I really expected the powder to give better results. Considering the main ingredient was talc it would have been cheaper and just as effective to have used baby powder on my face.
I've returned the product (thanks to the QVC 30 day money back guarantee) and have ordered some Jurlique Silk Dust. Fingers crossed that will sort my skin out. ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

I tried it and had the same problem. I think that there are much better oil control products out there. |
