I thought I would try this mineral foundation since my skin sometimes gets dry in the winter months. Well, this cream is so thick that you can't spread it evenly on the skin. Not even with a flocked sponge. I tried using it twice, and it was so thick and sticky that I gave up 1/2 way through. The half of my face that did get coverage looked pasty. Not natural looking at all. Personally, I hated it and the remainder of the sample went into the trash. Thank Goodness for samples sizes!!!

Thanks for your feedback. I have been eyeing this products as I don't care for powder foundations. PureLux Eraser is a wonderful product. Just like many of my cosmetics I buy them and never use them....just forget.
Could it be that you got a bad batch? Where it was a sample it might have dried up a bit. You should let PureLux know. While I have only done business with them once, I heard they have good customer service. Maybe they would send you out another sample free of charge. |

Hi!
I had the exact same experience with this product.
I had so high expectations when I ordered it.
I think the main problem is that it dries waaaayy to fast, and so I ended up with a very uneven complexion. I couldn't get an even application with a flocked sponge either.
I know many ppl have difficulties with application of the cream, there are a lot of threads about it on the Pure Luxe forum at Mineral Makeup Mania.
Winnie; I second your opinion on the "Eraser"; it's a great product indeed
