Okay, I'm developing a cult-like admiration for my new MAC cosmetics. They stay on all day, they're user-friendly, and I'm fairly certain that the foundation is improving my skin. I never wore foundation before but I'd never turn back now. My skin is soft, dewy but not greasy, and more even-toned. Has anyone else had this experience? Good gravy I love this stuff. |

Hi LandB,
Well, I'd have to say I agree with you. I've been using their lipsticks, foundation, concealer, mascara, and powder for years. They do last all day and if I'm in a hot and humid climate, it's so easy to do a touch up with my powder compact. I really like their professional brushes, application is a breeze!
The only thing I should mention is that I did not like their skin care product line. There was no visible improvement.

I have a newly found appreciation for their concealers - ever since they brought out the MoistureCover one. I really like their eye liner pencils as well and their eye shadows, though I'm not a big fan of the lippies or the mascaras so far. Love their lip glosses and I *hate* *really hate* their long wearing lip glosses. |

Ditto for the mascara. That's the only product I've been "eh" about. So I just ordered a different one on MAC on-line and I'll let you know how it goes. |

I really like the MAC pro long lash mascara. It worked well for me, but you do have to comb it between layers. |

I too share a love of MAC. The Studio Finnish concealer is the best concealer I've ever found.
I also love their blushers, eye paints, powders, fluidlines, eye khols, eye shadows, lustre lipsticks and bronzing powder.
The colour range is good too. |

Glad you've found a cosmetics line that makes you happy!!
After all; that's our ultimate goal, isn't it?
Personally I have never tried their foundations, but I'm addicted to their frost lipsticks, which I use on a daily basis, and the Mineralize Skinfinish powder, which IMO gives that perfectly healthy glow!!
Cheers!

Argh I have wanted the Mineralize skinfinnish for so long, I think it is being brought out again around Christmas. |

I'm so glad you are loving your new goodies! I've tried one mascara and it flakes so badly into my eyes I sent it back. But, the lippies are to die for, the colours are fantastic and there are so many flattering shades to choose from. I look at the photos the ladies (and some men) post at Spektra.net and the eyeshadows are vibrant. I've also been eyeing up their foundations because the colours looks so great, they are supposed to work well for yellow undertones. I tried one years ago but it was before Studio Tech and it wasn't Studio Fix, the powder one. |

I was addicted to MAC Lipglasses until I tried the Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss in Tangerine. It is glossier and the consistency is not as sticky but stickier at the same time so it is more comfortable on lips and stays on nicer.
I still adore MAC though, apart of their mascara which is not so great and eye kohls which irritate my eyes to the point that they are so puffy and sore than I can't blink
Love the eyeshadows, blushes, skin finishes and brushes though (and still partially addicted to the Ligpglass ) |

Lolli - what is Spektra.net, or how do you nagivate it? It came up as a search engine when I typed it as an address.
Thanks! |

I love their lipsticks and their satin lipstick (not too matte, just dewey) in Naked is my makeup bag absolute must-have! I can wear it alone for a subtle, natural look, or I mix it with other lipsticks that don't quite have the colour (like for instance when I get a lipstick as a gift or bought one in the wrong colour).
My name is pumpingmummy and I'm a MAC (lipstick) addict . |
