Hi there - okay. I'm wondering what people usually do in terms of the order of the products they use. For example, Im going to buy Skinceuticals Primacy C+E and the B-5 hydrating serum. I want to use it at night, and I know I put the serum on first and then the B-5. And then I need to put a moisturizer on over that? Any suggestions about the best kind to use over all that product?
Also, since I plan to do the Vit-C regiment at night, do people have any suggestions about what do wear during the day besides a massive amount  of suncreen? I don't want to wear an expensive moisturizer and I don't want anything with alpha hydroxies, acids, etc since I'll be doing that at night and since I live over 8000 feet in Colorado. I get sunburns if I'm outside for 20 minutes with a hat and wearing Phytomax 100+!!

I am currently using Skinceuticals C + E. I have tried several moisturizers for my slightly dehydrated skin including Skinceuticals' Emollience.
I would have to say the Cellex C's GLA for Dry Skin works well for me. Check it out - I don't think it contains any of those acids etc that you are trying to avoid. What is convenient is that you can use it both in the day and night. It is supposed to enhance the benefits of the Vit C you are putting on (whether day or night). I use Vit C+E in the day, Hydra B, GLA Moisturizer and sunscreen before my makeup. What I like about GLA is that it gets absorbed quite quickly and doesn't leave behind a greasy film (rich moisturizers sometimes do that, and make makeup application difficult, especially if you need to slather on sunscreen as well). If your skin is very dry, you can try GLA Extra Moist.
Do ask for a sample from EDS. Hope this helps |

It's me again. Having said that I am quite happy with Cellex C's GLA, I have to add that I am still searching for a better moisturizer. :PAren't we all:P. Anyway, I have put in a new order for Valmont's Regenetic Hydration Cream together with Valmont's Renewing Pack. I will review soon! Leila, if you are reading this, I am rubbing my hands and waiting for my parcel.....hyperventilating as well...pant pant.... |
