I have a couple of underground cysts on my face right now. I have two on the far ends of my forehead and one on my chin. They are hard and they realllly hurt everytime I press them.
They are slightly red in color and I want them gone!!!
What should I do to bring them to head? I don't mind them hanging out on my face with the while pus because I have a couple of things which work instantly for that. However, when I can't see them but I know they are there..ughhh
Please help . |

When I used to get those ouchy, big ones I'd put a hot compress on them (hot water, washcloth). Heat is supposed to draw a pimple to head. It also helps make the ouch go away! |

The best thing I've ever found for this sort of blemish is to apply a hot compress like mentioned followed with some Prid drawing salve. It really works for this kind of blemish. It draws it to the surface in record time! You have to apply it at night though and cover it with a bandage (or not sometimes I didn't but you run the risk of getting it on your pillow). I started a thread about this stuff, you might want to have a look at it:

Also, as someone mentioned don't use this stuff if you're sensitive to sulphur. HTH |

Dermastyle acne pen by Lumiport. I shine the white and blue light on the pimple for 10 mins and it comes to head overnight. |

I also have one huge underground cyst under my eye for 2 weeks now. It's keeps getting bigger and redder but no head. It's felt like a hard lump and hurt like hell! I could not get it to come to a head. I have never had one so bad like this one before. It's embarrassing to go out! |

If you get really desperate I would recommend that you take a quick trip to the Dr. He can inject a little cortisone under it and poof! It's gone in one day. I know, it's not the most "natural" way of handling things, but to me it's worth it since it saves me from so much grief and stress. |

Wow, that's really rough!! Have you tried asking your regular doctor? I used to live out in the country, miles from a real dermatologist, so I would just get my doctor to do it and that worked fine...
I remember one time I was in Singapore visiting my boyfriend (now husband), and we were just about to leave for a romantic getaway to Indonesia when I grew the mother of all cystic blemishes. Imagine my delight when I found out that doctors in Singapore stay open til 9 or 10 PM, and you don't even need an appointment. I went in at like 9:30 PM, got my shot, paid my $30, and enjoyed a blemish-free romantic getaway. If only if were that easy in the US... |

im in AUS and unfortunately we cant get those shots very easily. last year i had a really huge cyst on my face and saw a cosmetic doctor. it had no head for over a week and was just getting bigger. instead he took a medical needle.. pierced and punctured it and wat do u know there was so much pus (sorry to be graphic) inside.. (even tho there was no head)... he then gave me a medical needle and told me to pierce it once every 2 days or so to drain it.. he also recommended a hot compress.. it was a nightmare and took a whole month to clear (still left with a scar tho).. but its another option if u cant get the cortisone shot.. |

Also, there's apparently a product called Yonka Emulsion Pure that is supposed to work wonders on cystic acne. Heck, I'll try anything once so I've got some coming to me. I'll let you guys know how it works.... |

Hahahaahahaha, guilty as charged, Yen! The thing is, I generally have really good self-control when it comes to clothes, shoes, etc, but when it comes to make up and skin care... well, you know! The good news is, this forum has helped me like you wouldn't believe! It used to be I'd buy a bunch of junk, and most of it would either not work, or would make my skin worse, argh! But all of the suggestions from this board have been excellent, and I'm happy to report that my skin has never looked better. I'll keep my product reports coming... |

Liz, I do that too. I can talk myself out of all sorts of stuff but when it comes to skin care...I just can't say no. This forum is amazing. I've learned about so many products and my wish list keeps getting longer. I can't wait to hear about your review on the Yonka Emulsion Pure. |
