I accidentally found this site while looking for reviews on DHC skincare and found this site to be amazing and useful. Saw the review for the Juice Beauty and went to Sephora and bought some of the recommended items and it's great.
So I was wondering if anyone has any recommendation on a good blush. |

I use L'Oreal Blush Delice. It's very sheer so it's easy to get a natural look, but you can build up brighter color for more drama, and it's very affordable. Also, it smells like cherries, yum! Another option I like is Tarte's Cheek stain, but it's definitely a lot more expensive. |

Thank you very much for your response. I'll try the L'Oreal first and see if it works for my skin. My problem is that by mid day the blush is gone so I've been trying to look for something that has staying power. I've tried smashbox but it didn't work. I've seen Tarte's cheek stain at Sephora but it is pricey. If the L'Oreal doesn't work, I'll try Tarte. Again, thank you. |

Hi qisme615 - Maybe if you post your preferences (peach vs. pink, cream vs. powder, irridescent vs. matte, etc.) you may get some helpful feedback. Blush colors and types are so varied, it's hard to recommend one without knowing your skin/complexion tone as well.
But having said all that, I can say that I really like T.LeClerc blush in Rose Sable. It's a powder in a compact (no brush included), and is a matte medium rosy pink color. I have very pale skin (with yellow/green undertones) and very dark hair, eyes and brows. I like natural looking blushes that give me a flushed look. In winter when my skin is dry, I prefer cream blushes. One inexpensive cream blush I like is Revlon "First Blush". It's less pink than the powder blush I described, but not peach either -- I can't wear peachy colors. It looks kind of red in the container, but when I pat it on, it gives me that flush that I'm looking for -- just not as pink as the powder.
For some reason, pink powders work for me, but I've yet to find a pink cream blush that suits me, and I've tried so many! It's an eternal hunt! |

I have many blushes but keep going back to MAC in pink swoon. It gives you a beautiful flush of color! |

I like Stila's mousse blush - called rouge pots or something - and Bobbi Brown's powder blush. Can't rec a colour, though, not really good at that. |

I love Blush and some of my favourites include:
MAC: Great colour range and there are so many formulas to choose from such as Sheertone and matte.
Rimmel: So inexpensive, yet once on you would not guess this is a drugstore Blusher, very buildable and for the price it is a must have!!!
Milani: Against another great inexpensive Blush, this one I only need to tap my brush onto the bowder and I have picked up a lot of colour. |

Jane does lovely powder blushes - I'm using one at the moment (and have four different shades of the Jane ones ). Also, Stila Rouge Pots are great for a cream based blush. |

You mentioned Sephora. Next time you are in a store, look at the NARS blushes. They have great colors, and some come in Duos with blush and bronzer packaged together. |

NARS blush in "orgasm" always gets high marks for how well the color looks with various skin tones. It's on my wish list, but I can't justify buying it until I get rid of my 2 MAC blushers, first. As for MAC, the colors are nice and they have good staying power, particularly over foundation or tinted moisturizer. |

I love the Stila Rouge Pots too. They're so easy to apply and give a very natural look. |

I second the vote for both of these! |

wow, thank you everyone for your suggestions. I've seen Rimmel at the drugstores but never considered trying it. Next time I'm at Sephora I'll have to check out all the brands suggested here.
I've wanted to try the cream blush but figured it maybe too oily for me, i have combination skin. |

Nars in Orgasm is one of my fave peachy colours, it's just embarrassing asking for it! Laura Mercier does a gorgeous pink shade called Rose Bloom and Smashbox, although you said you couldn't get on with it, they do a really nice block of 5 shades that can be used as eyeshadow, bronzer and blush, it's called Smashing Sequence. All seem to last all day on me. |

I always hear great reviews on the NARS orgasm blush, it is the most popular color for blushes.
I like MAC blushes since there are so many colors to choose from. |

I have also heard great reviews on NARS orgasm blush but after I tried it on .. I don't like it that much ... probably it doesn't look good on my skin tone, but all their colors look really nice I agree
I think the scott barnes ones are nice .. each one comes in 3 colors that you can play with. |

I keep coming back to Glee by BE. It stays all day without having to reapply. I like the look initially of the Smashbox gelsticks. I have one that looks very red in the tube but actually has a nice pink tone. I don't know the name of these as it has worn off the bottom. I will look at Rimmel the next time I am in Target. |

I also like NARS Orgasm. I'd want this for a long time (kept hearing so many great recs) and I finally bought it this past year.
Then my other favourite recently is MAC Pinch O' Peach Sheertone Blush. It's funny though ... I can't see any peach in it ... to me it looks like a cool pink. I think it's a really pretty, natural colour. |

Even though many people say Nars Orgasm is peachy, I always found it to be more pink. Even in the pan it looks pink and I don't do pinks . Fortunately Deep Throat was the color I wanted Orgasm to be and that's the one I use most often.
For a large color selection and good prices, MAC is hard to beat. |

I've enjoyed reading the forums for quite some time now, and just realised I hadn't registered.
My favourite powder blush is Cargo's The Big Easy which is a lovely peach shade with a subtle touch of gold shimmer. I also rather like Cargo's Catalina, a matt bubble gum pink - a little goes a long way. As for cream blush: I love Stila Convertible Color in Gerbera which is a beautiful, dewy, rather bright peach shade that really enlivens the complexion. Again, a very light hand is needed and it might not suit oilier complexions. It can also be worn on the lips, but I wouldn't recommend this. |

I second Song*'s recommendation. I bought this to use as a face brightener and did not like it so I started using it a a blush instead. It has a light, natural look that goes well with my pale skin and black hair. My husband even commented on it being a nice color on me!
