After watching video on utube for glaze product i was very impress and bought this product from walgreens for $10 as was having one special occasion on way so wanted to look best.
It says to give shine coat without harmful effect of coloring and without changing ur original hair color just give extra shine that u can use daily after shampoo then apply conditioner or weekly for half an hour on unwashed dry hair then wash as usual with shampoo followed by conditioner. It comes in different color and comes as clear gloss also.
I bought clear gloss as i have natural dark black hair color that i dont want to change just wanna have more shine.
For first time i decide to go with weekly treatment then i thought i will have daily.
But after washing my hair after an hour my hair was very dry burn without any shine ..infact whatever i was having was also gone
Very disappointed with product..post this just to warn u guys... |

I tried the Freida glaze for platinum colored hair last year. Hated it!
* the smell: too perfumey.
* the texture: did nothing for my hair
* I didn't notice any extraordinary shine.
Waste of $14. |

although it's discontinued, you can still find it (on sale!) on many beauty supply websites -- Sebastian Colourshines. It is so easy to use, and they are professional, so much better quality than the john frieda. and only around $25 for about 12 applications. I love the red-gold series to brighten up my dark hair. |

I hate when coloring product leave your hair feeling like straw.
Try this...
Get yourself a really good deep conditioner. I'm not a big Redken fan but I use the Color Extend Rich Defender. I wash my hair first then I apply a generous amount of the Redken product. This is going sound silly - I then wrap my hair in saran wrap then wrap my hair in a towel. Put on a face mask, lie down, read a trashy magazine like the Enquire. I leave this on for about 30 min. rinse it off, blow dry.
My hair is really soft and shiny. |

Yeah? Well I can one-up you on that! I'll sit under an avocado green, Lady Kenmore, bonnet-style hairdryer from the early 70's. It was my mum's, and I swiped it from her several years ago, before she gave it away to the Salvation Army thrift store!
Oh, and if you're wondering what deep conditioner I use: Terax Crema. |

I've always had great luck with the product by Natural Instincts called Shine Happy. I used to get glaze treatments at the salon but I've since switched to this product and I find that I get the same results! Give it a shot, it only takes 10 minutes! |

Holy crap my mom had one of those hairdryer too. I remember her watching Edge of Night with those hard wired rollers in hair under the green hairdryer. Everything in our house was from Sears.
Terax Crema?? - I can't beleive that I've never heard of this product. Do tell where would if find this? |

I tried the blonde glaze. It felt very heavy, almost like it wasn't good for my hair, and I didn't notice any appreciable difference in the shine factor. A complete dud for me! |

Saphora or online at amazon. Good stuff too, the life drops are GREAT for dry, damaged hair. |

Thanks - I've been looking at products from Sephora. What I don't understand is why I have to pay duty, etc if they have a store in Edmonton and all over Ontario. I want to try the Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Spray. Any Canadians out there order from here? |
