Men's skin is thicker than women's skin (+16% on average) and is therefore naturally more resilient.
Men's skin produces more sebum. As a result, the skin is oilier and more acidic, creating an environment favourable to the bacteria that cause blemishes and shine. Added to this are impurities caused by pollution, hard water, cigarette smoke, etc. The skin needs deep-cleansing, purifying and protective care.
Although the skin has more moisture, it also has more insensible water loss.
