I will be forever indebted to Tiger_Tim for convincing me to purchase this cleanser. It is one of those cleansers that you might occasionally read about and even consider, but never actually purchase because the price is higher than many other cleansers but well worth it.
I am not sure that a sample does this cleanser justice as it needs to be used for at least a week to realise just how good it feels on your skin, how well it cleans your skin, even makeup, and at the same time, how gentle it is. I had always preferred cleansers that foamed or had a soapy look until I used this cleanser. It is truly a gel and, although I threw the box out so I no longer have the ingredients to list here, it does not have SLS which to me is a huge plus. If you are interested, here is the link to the review posted by Tiger_Tim which does list the ingredients:
http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?p=99494&highlight=cellcosmet+purifying+gel#99494
It is stated that it does the following and I would confirm that 100% however, my skin is not sensitive so I can only assume it would be good as it truly lives up to all other claims.
* ACTIONS : High tech cleansing and purifying gel.
* Gently dissolves make-up and clears the skin of surface impurities.
* Refreshes and refines pores.
* Promotes skin freshness and natural glow.
* Extremely mild and effective.
* Ideal for sensitive skin.
* Alcohol-free.
My rating is 5/5

I've been waiting for your review of this I know Tiger_tim really like this as well and it's been on my list. I tried a sample of it and decided that I prefer the cream cleanser (that I have a full size of) but I think that when I run out of this I will get the gel just for something different I'm such a big fan of Cellcosmet products, which is kind of a scary concept now that I have a mortgage.... But they are *so* good! |

bushy great review! I ordered this last week and should be getting it any day now. I will post about the "Ideal for Sensitive skin " part after I have tried it.
I never really considered the Cellcosmet product line until I received a sample of the eye cream with my first EDS order and did some research. It sounded intriguing but what really sold me was using the eye cream. I hope I am as impressed with the cleansing gel! Or considering the cost of this stuff maybe I should be hoping otherwise. |

TheresaL, I also never expected it to be so good and in the case of this product, you do get what you pay for. I really hope it works on your sensitive skin too. |

I am so glad that you like this product!! I really think the Cellcosmet cleansing system is wonderful and I cannot wait to get the cleansing cream as well as the tonic (which I dont have yet.. too broke after the blowout in April) |

Question for those of you using this. Do you use anything first to remove makeup or sunscreen or do you just use the cleansing gel? Also, in tiger_tim's review she mentions that this should be applied to dry skin, has everyone been doing it this way? I should be getting the cleanser any day now and want to make sure I am using it correctly. |

I just rub it over dry skin and then you wet your hands and emulsify it. I use 4 pumps at a time, which might be one too many
The one time I had eye make up on it whipped it off in a flash!! |

It would seem that it doesn't matter how you apply it as I wet my face first, use 2 pumps and massage my face. If I have had a hectic day, I sometimes rinse the first lot and then use 1 more pump just to finish off. No problem removing makeup amd it won't sting your eyes. |

2 pumps is certainly more economical LOL
I also mist my face with depsea water before applying just for a bit of slip |

First Impression: I tried the cleanser this morning and all I can say is WOW! As some of you know I have very sensitive skin and this did not cause ANY irritation, no stinging, nothing bad! I applied to dry skin massaged a little and then wet it and massaged some more. I normally don't leave cleansers on my skin that long (except for cleansing oils) but even after having it on my skin for a minute or two I had no irritation. After I rinsed it off my skin felt like it should after cleansing clean but not overdry. I will have to use it for a while to form a full opinion but I am impressed!
So yes the ideal for sensitive skin part is true. |

I am insanely in love with this cleanser. It is hard to explain why. I think that it is just because it does what it says it does. It takes all your makeup off, doesn't sting your eyes, it feels very soothing going on, it has a very clean smell. It reminds me of the smell right before it rains. I stray, but then I come back to this cleanser. Not your other review of the activer gel has gotten me to go pull my bottle out of the back of my closet. I forgot how much I liked it. my bottle is 90% full. I stopped using it because it is really inconvienent. but tonight, i used it while i was in the tub. i washed my face and right before i got out, i put on the activator gel for a few minutes. I also really like their toner. It got me back to using toner. It just feels very nice and my skin looks nice after. I got my husband hooked on the preventive night cream and he has used it for 1.5 years now, which is saying a lot because he has no skincare routine at all. i have given him other products and he'll say that they are not as good as the cellcosmet.

Oh how could I miss out this review entirely? Bushy, I just saw your recommendation on the gel cleanser in another thread and then did a search on your review. I should have a sample with me and it's time to give it a go! So excited! |

I looove this cleanser - I only use it in the summer though and alternate with the Cellcosmet cream cleanser in the winter months. I have sensitive skin which is easily irritated but these cleansers are wonderful. |

o.k. before I blow the budget (again!!) any more raves about a cleanser that costs $88 cdn...I get the impression that this is mostly for sensitive skin..right??? Someone with oily skin would be just as happy with Jan Marini c-esta cleanser at $26. right?
Please say yes |

marina,
I am nowhere near finishing my bottle of the Cellcosmet cleanser but I just ordered another bottle yesterday. I have never tried the Jan Marini so I can't compare but I have oily/sensitive skin and find that the Cellsosmet works great at cleansing without overdrying. I am very impressed with this cleanser!
Sorry, I don't think that I am helping. |

Marina, I used the Jan Marini C-Ester cleanser for probably 18 months and it was an ok cleanser but it just doesn't compare to Cellcosmet which I love, love, love. Your skin will love you for it too. |

This is an awesome cleanser. The activating gel & tonic are the icing on the cake. Your skin feels so clean not to mention the fact that the three little steps can really wake you up in the morning. Cellcosmet is a big investment but you can certainly tell the difference when you use it. |

Hi
I tread in carefully to say I find this cleanser a little drying on my particular skin type.
I tried it again this morning because I read this. It's still a little drying.

Molly,
Hopefully since I have oily skin, it'll work well for me. Mabsy raved about the cream version-maybe you would like that one better |
