I started the super serum, active and firming complex on 5/10. I must say that I have not been extremely faithful with the active and the firming complex in the last week or so, as they did not appear to be doing too much for me. I think I need to be more faithful with them and give those 2 products more time.
The super serum on the other hand is now my 1 HG product (I have never had a HG product before!). This stuff is just wonderful. My little story - when I got home from vacation, my puppy scratched one side of my face and one forearm to the point I looked like I had been mauled. I faithfully applied the super serum to both areas and my face and arm healed within 1 week. No scars or anything. This is a first for me, as I always scar from wounds. Anyway, for me, the super serum is a definite keeper. I just love it. Hope this helps someone else! |

IS Clinical Super Serum (30 ml)
This extraordinary formulation is the first to combine the clinically proven Vitamin C (stabilized L-Ascorbic Acid), Hyaluronic Acid (intensive hydrating ingredient), Arbutin Glycoside (controls uneven pigmentation), Pentapeptide amino acid (essential amino acids, protein building blocks, aids in reducing scar tissue and stretch marks), Kojic Acid (controls acne and uneven pigmentation), Vitamin B5 (essential for increasing cellular integrity), Centella Asiatica (phenomenal healing and potent antioxidant ingredient), and Zinc Sulfate (which is a powerful antioxidant, acts as an anti-inflammatory agent, promotes wound healing, and improves immunity). SUPER SERUM is unlike any formula ever offered, and combines phenomenal ingredients with unsurpassed abilities to produce remarkable positive results including: smoothing, evening pigmentation, protection against UV damage, encouraging and facilitating collagen production, reducing scar tissue and stretch marks, and providing excellent antioxidant protection.

razinkane - hopefully someone with more ISC experience will come along. I don't know about that. I have extremely resistant, normal skin that never breaks out. Sorry I can't be of more help. |

I prefer the Pro-Heal/active combo to Super/Active. |

I am thinking about trying this product. My skin is normal to dry with oily t-zone. biggest concerns are wrinkles in eye area and forehead. Also I have uneven skin-freckles/brown spots.
Do i have the right skin type for this serum? |

liv - you probably will be fine with this. You should try a sample if at all possible. I started using the skinceuticals C, E, Ferulic and this really worked better for diminishing freckles. Neither one has/had done anything for my wrinkles. |

rileygirl, I'm glad you found something to love. That's always nice. The Super Serum is a good product, but I find it rather tacky in texture for daytime use. It's fine for nighttime for me, but I would prefer to find a c serum that I can use for the day as part of my antioxidant cocktails. Still, I do like it and use it on occasion.
I'm wondering what other products you use and like (even if you can't raise them to HG status). The reason I inquire is because you have virtually the same type of skin as me. I am just in the mood to try new products in the hopes of finding something great and effective. |

cristaline, I sure wish I could help you more! It is so hard having product resistant skin. Right now, though, I am just finishing up 18 weeks on Obagi. This is a really strong product line and mostly for hyperpigmentation. It has worked great for me. I have 3 more weeks of this. I am then going to trial the Jan Marini line (c-esta cleansing, c-esta serum, factor A plus lotion, bioglycolic cream, transformation cream). I have heard these are "harsh" products, but my skin seems to need this type of treatment. So, I can't, at the moment, recommend anything to you because other than the Obagi, I have yet to find anything that "touches" my skin! I will do a review of the JM products after a month or so of use, but I am going to give the products 4 months time. Sorry I could not be of more help to you! |

Hi rileygirl, I just saw this. Thanks so much for your reply. As it turns out, I actually am curious about the Jan Marini line, specifically the Age Transformation serum. I can't wait to hear your thoughts! |

I tried the super and pro-heal before, the super gave me breakouts, then I switch to Pro-heal, the face became ok.
However ISC products are honestly quite $$$, I am now using PSF skin care products which seem to be working good on me |
