I am a long-time lurker and am trying to get together a good system of skin care and makeup for me. I used to have acne, but now having founf my HG for that, I can concentrate on skin care. For so many years now, I have just thought about the acne and have ignored the other things I should have been doing. Now I'm 33 with dryish skin, with some freckles, some fine lines, and beginning agin under the eyes. <sigh> You all seem to have skin that doesn't look its age, and I really would like to join that camp.
Anyway, I'm abroad and will be buying Dr. H. skin cleanser while I'm here, as well as high level Vichy sunscreen. I'm trying to decide whether to order the IS Clinical stuff or the Cellec-C treatments. I also need to reconsider makeup. I currently use and love Illuminare liquid MMU, but I understand from posts here that it may not work with the European sunscreen that has Mexoryl-XL. But I am fair with red hair/green eyes, and I really think I need the stronder European sunscreens.
What combination of products works for you all? Does anyone have a simple cleanse, treat, protect, makeup system? I don't want to spend the money on 8-10 products right now, so what 4-5 have you all found work? Maybe I can fill in the blanks between Dr. H. and Vichy and figure out a makeup. |
