Hi guys,
I am reading about so many products that i would love buy. Since most of them are pretty expensive I was wondering about samples and how common is it to get them through mail. Do i need to buy a product from a particular brand and than get the samples or can i order them seperatly too without having to buy a product? Also, which brands are good about giving/mailing samples.
Thank you

Some companies will send out samples to you. I think Dermalogica and Decleor seem pretty good in terms of letting potential customers sample things first. I know Mario Badescu will send out samples as well (to US residents only).
I know for a fact that when you order from EDS you get samples of products with your order. You can requests SPECIFIC ones (regardless of what brand you actually bought) and they will include them if they have them in stock.

I emailed La Prairie with questions about a specific eye cream this past winter and they sent me 2 samples of that product in less than 2 weeks, did the Mario Badescu skin survey on their website and they sent me generous samples about 2 months later. EDS is verrry generous with samples with your order and I called dermstore.com and asked them for a specific sample and they sent it to me (no purchase) and when you order from them you can specify a sample or they will include some, usually one or two, not overly generous! |

CrazyForClooney, I couldn't find a skin survey on Mario Badescu, do you have a link or did they take it down? Thank you! |

Hi, at mariobadescu.com go under "Consulting" for the survey. It says a skincare consultant will contact you with recommendations, but what that means is they will send you samples with detailed instructions. They send little pots of everything they determine good for your skin, cleanser, toner, mositurizer, masque. Can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks. ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |
