Just a quick note to recommend this fantastic lip palette from Smashbox. I hated everything in this brand I tried previously but this is a beauty and will last you eons. It has 18 shades in every colour you may need and has the consistency of a gloss with the sophistication of a lipstick. For those of you like me who never finish a tube of anything and get bored with the same colours, this is perfect. The shades range from pinks,corals,cocoas,golds to reds. Staying power is excellent and you can mix shades to create your own custom colour. Comes with its own very good large lipbrush/space to pop your own - no mirror though.
Do note it might be too big for a handbag, unless you carry handsuitcases like Kate Moss. Also if you travel you need to protect it in a makeup bag/with some bubblewrap.
Available on waitlist from QVC uk for £19. I got as a gift and have ordered two more for my sisters. You can return for refund if you don't like it.
Available in US for $39 and a portion of the proceeds go to CancerSupport. How fab is all that?

http://www.smashbox.com has a picture. I tried to copy and paste it here but I had no luck. The picture looks like the shades are more cocoa/beigey but they are true spectrum colours with modern twists.
This is a 10/10 buy IMO. One good lipstick can cost c.£12 so 18 little pots of great quality seem sensible. |
