I use this for two weeks every month in combination with the Baume Essentiel as an alternative to the Aromessence Ylang Ylang and Ylang Ylang Balm that I use the rest of the time.
I find the Aromessence Neroli really calms my skin down. It immediately soothes any blotchiness that can appear after washing my face in the morning. It also helps any moisturiser I use with it to sink into my skin a lot quicker and helps to provide a suitable base for my make-up.
The smell is ok. The Neroli is quite subtle, I tend to get more of a hit of parsley and sage when I sniff it.
I was a bit worried about applying an oil to my oily skin at first but this stuff just sinks straight in. I barely have time to smooth it over my face before my skin has sucked it all up!
The price might seem a little steep considering it is such a small bottle, but this stuff will last for ages. You only have to use 2-3 drops and after 2 months of using this stuff the level of oil in the bottle barely seems to have decreased at all.
As for the packaging, yellow isn't exactly my favourite colour but I now associate the Decleor yellow with great products and so I don't mind having these little yellow boxes and tubes all over the place! 
I would definately purchase this stuff again. |
