I just finish the last packette last night. So I can give a good review.
Its a 30 days treatment that I used once a day (at night).I bought the individually wrap one because I heard that the ones that come in the jar where dring up towards the end. So firts you apply all over your face and neck the #1 pad (thats the peel). Its smell a bit strong. You let it set a couple of minutes depending on your skin type (30 sec-1 min. sensitive skin,1-2 min. dry/normal skin and 2-3 min. oily skin) .The first time it really suprising because it tingle a lot. Almost feel like a rash. But it goes away really fast and when you apply the #2 pad (the neutralizer) it soothe the skin.
The first day I woke up after using it I could already see a big difference. My skin was brighter. Then the days whent by and my skin was less oily in the morning, my pores was a little smaller and my skin was clear. No extra breakout.I think it even help to get rid of blackheads . My facialist told me that it was easier to remove them. But the best is that I had red acne scars on my checks and now after one month of using I can say that they are light pink. Its a really nice improvement.
I think its a really good product that I would purchase again and again but after searching on EDS I realize that maybe I can find a good AHA/BHA without having to pay 115$ a month. Its to much for my budget! |

Katya, you can cut the Alpha Beta peel pads in half and only use 1/2 every time... that will save you some money.
I cannot use the AB peel myself anymore as I overdid Obagi several months ago and my skin is now too sensitive. But prior to my Obagi mishap I used to really like the AB peel. You still get plenty of liquid to do your whole face and neck when you cut the pad in half. |

Agreed, this is a very nice product and I use it on and off myself. However, I also agree with katya it's a bit overpriced for what you're getting.
If my skin feels like it needs an acid product, this is the one I reach for. |

My nose was a little more dry then normal and was peeling a little but I think its because its in the middle of my face and I probably rub the pad more often on it. So the next couple of days a was gentle in that area and everything went back to normal. |

Hi katya - I used to use this product a few years back and really liked it. It's true that the pads in the bottom of the jar dried up before I could get to them (couldn't tolerate using these every day) -- the individual packets sound like a good improvement. I never thought of cutting them in half -- great idea stellamaris. If the jar is cheaper, maybe putting it in a plastic bag could help prevent the pads from drying out.
BUT now I prefer using PSF Pumpkin Enzyme Peel about once a week, which gives me the same results and is a lot more economical to use. Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel (in both regular and sensitive formulae) are another popular option. These may not be appropriate though if daily exfoliation is preferred. |

Katya,
I have used this peel on and off and like it. But I don't buy it too often coz I don't want to jinx the effect, or have my skin get too used to it, and not respond to it.
I have a sample of the PSF pumpkin peel that I will trying this weekend. Also curious to see how the two products compare. |

I used that for 30 days and I didn't see any great improvement on my skin. With the price I paid, I expected more than that. |

I just try the pumpkin peel from PSF. Not bad but...it smell to mutch for me and its hard to rince well. Also I did not like the heat intense burning effect on my skin. I had a sample and still got some so I will try again and see if its better... |

Total waste of money in my opinion. It doesn't provide a peel, too weak for that. And it didn't refine my skin either and I am one of those people that has to be careful with any AHAs over 10%. I actually had better results with a Neostrata 8% Toner than this. |

Although I like their cleanser very much, I found this peel simply too weak. Didn't notice any difference. |

I got a sample of this once & didn't think much of it. I much prefer using a AHA/BHA mask instead, but I guess it is a pretty quick & easy to use product. |

i didnt like this peel either (my mum didnt like it too).
dream cat- i used this on my acne and it just didnt really do much for it. and with daily prolonged use, it dries out the skin and makes it quite red and raw, and it smells quite strongly of alcohol.
i wouldnt really recommend this peel on acne or any other skin types |

I am really interesting in giving this a try. Has anyone tried using it once a week instead of everyday? 'cause i am a bit worried that this will be too much for my skin |

THIS IS MY FIRST TIME WITH THE FORUM, AND I COULD NOT FIND A BETTER PRODUCT TO RECOMEND. IT WAS SUGESTED TO ME AT A FOUR SEASONS IN SCOTTSDALE FOR CLOGGED PORES, I AM IN A VERY DRY CLIMATE. IT ALONE HAS DONE MORE FOR A CLEAN CLEAR SKIN THAN ANY PRODUCT |

I don't have sensitive skin, but to me it feels more like a thorough cleanser than a peel.
But clearly you can use it less frequent. It doesn't dry up that fast even when you buy it in a 30-pads box |

I think the alpha hydrox peel is probably as effective or more. It's 14% Glycolic Acid. I bought a package of 6 on their website on clearance. What I do is squeeze out the liquid from the mask into another spray container. One mask then lasts about 5 applications. I have been doing it once or twice a week and it helps fade acne marks.
I do experience light peeling/dryness, so I am careful not to overdo it with other actives. |

Have you ever try alpha hydrox? I think it's a good one and cheap. |

I've been using this for a few weeks and has definitely made a HUGE difference on my skin - I am not breaking out like before along jaw and if I do get a pimple, it dries out much much faster ... I am using it with Mario Badescu Buffering lotion for any cystic acne. |
