Oh man, I'm all over this one! I posted last week on Tuesday about a bad bike gash. I'm so mad at myself for not going to ER or urgent care to have it looked at. I think the lower part really needed stitches and could look sooo much better a week out. It's 3 inches long and MESSY!
I was so booked at work the day it happened that I felt I didn't have time. (I did it biking in to work.) At the end of the day my husband said he thought it was too late for anything to be done. But I finally had it looked at yesterday and they said up to 24h they could have done something. Said they would have cleaned it better and could have closed it better. Grrrr.
It's still a little open so I have to wait. But I went to the drugstores and couldn't find those sheets that 'la vie en rose' is talking about. Maybe I could order it online. Anybody know what they are called? |

Any luck Michelec? I'd be interested in this. I tried to find a price on the website listed, but couldn't find it. |

Hi there, I'm rushing out the door to go for a week of camping so this is quick.
A lady I know that works on a burn unit got me a sheet of that scar stuff. I put that on the scar in the day so it never sees the light of day. But I'm not sure it is doing anything.
I emailed Candy and she said she didn't have any of the What Scar to offer on the site because she needed to whip up more. So she sent me a sample to try which was so incredibly sweet. The stuff feels great and smells great. I think it does soften the scar. It's worth buying because you could use it for lots of different things. |
