This is undoubtably the best product I have ever used.
It feels like it is more potent than the cream as I can actually see results after using it for three weeks. I also prefer it over the cream as it is a lighter lotion, more like a light cream than a serum and it is in a pump bottle which I also prefer to a jar.
When applied, it sinks in very quickly and leaves the skin incredibly soft and matt. There is no residue at all, just the feel of soft natural skin. It is quite superb for oily and normal skins but dry skin may need a moisturiser over the top although I am not certain of this.
The product description is:
"For all women seeking the extreme effectiveness of an immediate lifting product with a delicately powdered texture for a moment of luxurious pleasure.
Instant firming action and in-depth restructuring power for long-lasting effect. The product's extreme freshness guarantees the optimal effectiveness of the active ingredients.
As soon as it is applied the skin is made wonderfully smooth, velvety and radiant. Day after day fine lines and wrinkles are reduced. The skin is firmer and absolutely flawless."
What it says is exactly what it does.
I have been using this product just by itself and under my eyes as well. I just love it, so much so, that I have already ordered it a second time.

I know you've tried a lot of good stuff, including other Valmont. Would you say it is more effective (inc for lifting/firming) than others you have tried? |

Thanks. |

Juliemarie, this is definitely a lifting and firming product and is probably just a little better than ICCT in that this product smooths the skin as well as lifting and firming.
KrazyKat it would depend on the consistency of your retinaldehyde but perhaps it would be better after, not before. I can't answer the pore question as I do not have large pores but it does leave the skin very matt and yes, it is firming. |

Bushy, does the firmness on the skin feel stiff or a tight feeling, but not uncomfortable? |

Your skin actually feels very soft and natural and looks smooth. I don't know how they have done it with this product but you get skin that feels totally natural but looks flawless. |

For that money - spent on a monthly basis - you could do a lot of other long term things. But hey, if I could afford it, I'd buy it for sure. More power to you. |

Bushy, is there a certain amount of time that it should be used up? And is this a product that you'll use all the time or just periodically? |

If this is like the L Elixir Des Glaciers Cream it states to use the product within 2-3 month in order to preserve freshness.
The cream was really really nice as well but come on...$410 for face cream |

Tam, it should be used within a couple of months but that is very easy using it twice a day. For anyone purchasing any of the Elixir products, they should be used straight away, not put aside and forgotten. If the price was a bit better, I would only use this product. I was so impressed that I bought a second one as soon as the first was finished. If the price improves, I will use it all the time but otherwise, 3 or 4 times a year.
Aiva, I finished the second bottle a couple of weeks ago and the lifting and firming has remained. It does seem like it has long term benefits rather than just the quick plumping fix of so many other products. |

Bushy I hate to say this but I envy you. I tend to go for the expensive gadget as they last a very long time. The one product I would LOVE to try is Valmont L ELIXIR DES GLACIERS Precious Serum. Just recently I have used a deluxe sample of Valmont L ELIXIR DES GLACIERS Eye Regenerating Cream. It is absolutely gorgeous. Now I know why the rich and famous look so good.
One product I will purchase is Valmont Lip Repair. When a woman my age rediscovers rosy lips I know a product is special. The Lip Repair is $95.00 but lasts a long time. |

Winnie, if you're willing to spend that much on your lips, why don't you try lips2kiss?
