i have just tried a sample of dermalogica's anti-bac cooling mask that came with my last eds order.
i wanted someone to do a review of it in the long term- i ran a search but it is only mentioned once. I quite liked it this morning but not sure what it will do to me if i used it weekly.
i have oily/combination skin. not many breakouts, but am having some trouble on my chin after a stress rash last year
thanks guys-

hello.
I"ve used this mask for about 6 months maybe longer and few years ago, I had very bad breakouts, The mask does feel good but it did nothing for me, it did calm my face a bit, but thats about it, as you said you don't have many breakouts so i don't know what your looking for in this mask, it is a good hydrator, I love dermalogica products i've tried just about everyone, this is one that i'm not a big fan of. |

maybe you should try a clay mask.. try one containing witch hazel and kaolin for oily skin. Clay masks are really astringent so dry out spots really well. If your sensitive try one made with kaolin and rose water or witch hazel and calomine (not camomile) powder. |

Thanks guys-
I just had a sample of i, and it seemed ok so i wanted to hear some other reviews- I ran a search but nobody has done one.
My skin doesn't really break out and it isn't sensitive so i may try a clay mask. I just need to even out my skin now and improve the general appearance i guess- it seems a bit congested generally.
thanks again for the tips

Hey Maddy
Try here for reviews (you need to create a log in first)
http://www.makeupalley.com
There are plenty on Dermalogica products.
For some Aussie views, also try
http://www.vogue.com.au/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25
(do a search for Dermalogica).
Are you using any other products from Dermalogica?
For my skin, I am using Dermal Clay Cleanser and Daily Microfoliant.
I have combination skin that is pretty resistant to most things due to years of abuse. I find that I can leave on the Dermal Clay Cleanser and even the Microfoliant for temporary masks, which work quite well, although the menthol in the Dermal Clay Cleanser may not agree with you.
I am going to fork out to get the Gentle Cream Exfoliant and Multi-Vitamin Power Recovery Mask as well.
Hope that helps you to find what you need and some good stuff about a large range of other products. |
