I'm really into Weleda's Everon Lip Balm right now -- it's very thick and rich, in a good way: I only have to apply it once for a 30 minute run in 20 degree weather! It has a light vanilla scent/flavor, but by no means over-powering (IMO). Plus the packaging is cool.
My hubbie and I have been in a tug-of-war over my various lip balm addictions (he doesn't like tastes and has thus far only agreed to Burt's Bees), but this one he is actually very into! |

I've tried many lip balms, Dr Hauschka lip balm is the best. I've been using it for 2 yrs.
Kiehl's #1 lip balm is good too. |

I LOVE Palmer's lip butter, it has a chocolate mint smell to it and it moisturizes pretty good. |

I really like Eminence's Citrus Lip Balm and Aromaleigh's Jonesing for Java. Both balms are all natural. The Eminence balm is somewhat pricey ($24) but I don't use it every day. It feels wonderful on my lips with a slight plumping action. (I think it is from the paprika.) I love the smell of coffee, and Aromaleigh's Jonesing for Java is amazing. It smells just like my morning latte! I use it at night and it makes my lips feel smooth and soft. |

Is this a wax balm or does it come in a tube? |

carmex contains salicylic acid, they do not say how much, but salicylic acid does not belong on your lips. |

For straight lip balm, Dr. Hauschka, either in tube or pot, but also Chagrin Valley's lip balm, which is a LOT cheaper and comes in a yummy-smelling coffee version. |

The best lip balm for me is the COCONUT COLD PRESS OIL. It's really tasty and smells so good, and you can get it from many aroma shops. It's a little bit expensive, but if you only use it for a lip balm, you can used it for yrs and yrs. |

Vaseline works best for me - I love the tube form, but haven't seen that around recently.
I've been using Burts bees honey balm recently - it smells gorgeous, but it doesn't glide on that smoothly - although I think it has prevented cracking - its just not a texture I'm used to. |

Crazy Rumors lip balms hands down the best! Too bad they don't contain sunscreen. My favourite are the Amaretto and Irish Cream flavour. |

I like Rosebud, cheap and easy to buy, and I prefer using eye cream and olive oil instead of a lip balm when at home |

Ok so my lips were disgustingly chapped on Friday (bright red, cracking a bit) and I bought medicated chapstick. I slathered it on and in a day it was much better. Followed that up woth Smith's Menthol Rose and voila my mouth no longer resembles Frankenlips. Impressed. |
