After a frustrating struggle with the loose powder, I was ready to give up on mineral makeup. I just couldn't get the application right. Some areas got too much coverage, others didn't get enough. And all that buffing with a brush was making my skin very angry I varied the technique and got a little improvement, but not enough to make me like the results.
Then, as a last-ditch effort, I bought a sample of the pressed version and applied it with the flocked sponge. VOILA!! I am now the proud owner of an even complexion! Until I wash my face, anyway.
Unlike the loose minerals, pressed mmu goes on easily with the flocked sponge. You just pass it lightly over the powder, then glide it onto your face with downward strokes. The sponge is super soft and doesn't irritate sensitive skin.
Also, the pressed version doesn't have as much shine. And for some reason, it doesn't make my skin look greasy mid-day like the loose version did. I'm still trying to figure that one out cuz I don't have oily skin! |
