Well I am sitting here with a Thalgo mask around my eyes and a divine smelling Thalgo moisturising face mask on my face. So while my appreciation for Thalgo products grows (more about that after I get to use them a few times - but I'm liking Thalgo at the moment though), I'll just write a bit about DDF's EPF moisturiser.
I had two samples of this so I got to use it for about a week. When I first tried it I didn't like it because it seemed like a thick, almost somewhat balmy, type of cream. That was rather surprising since it said that it was a "lightweight moisturiser". It SEEMED like a product that should be too thick for me, yet my skin seems to quite like it. I was convinced that this would make my face shiny (it's really hot here at the moment) but, to my surprise, it didn't. It was soothing and left my face smooth (like it has silicon in it, though I don't think it actually does). I started to like it towards the end of the week and I liked it even more when I read the ingredients (it has Vit C, Shea Butter, Squalane, Aloe, Vit E and green tea extract). I'm not sure if I would repurchase, mainly because I still have quite a bit of stuff on my 'wish list' that I would like to try, plus this comes in a jar and I'd much rather a pump or tube (hygiene - I'm too lazy to use a spatula :P).
Btw, I think in the end I do agree with the "lightweight moisturiser" description even though the texture of it seems to be not like most of the light moisturisers I have tried. I think the thicker texture of it has something to do with the smooth feeling it leaves on your face (similar to the feeling when using Origins Skin Guardian stuff, which DOES have silicon in it).
