I have a ton of stuff sitting around that I only used a couple times, I was thinking of putting them on ebay. Do you think people would buy something used? All the products I have are in tubes or have pumps so there is no worry of contamination...just curious, thats all! Wink

Hey there

To be honest, ive never purchased anything used, but if I desperately wanted an item that was a pump bottle I dont see why I wouldnt.

If your items are high end lines, they will definetly sell. Do a search beforehand to see how well an item you wish to list would sell.

Having tracked items on Ebay I can tell you that I have seen used items sell for heaps on Ebay, but have also seen the converse.

It all depends on what brand your selling or how much somebody wants your item.

Ebay is a great way to get rid of stuff, ive done it loads of times, and I virtually buy all of my skincare from there.

Hope that helps.

Farouk

Thanks Lianne and Farouk,
Farouk, most of the lines I'm selling I bought here on EDS, they are high end but unfortunately they didn't work out for my skin type Sad
I'm going to try to sell them, if it doesn't work out then I guess I'll have to give em' away..I guess I have nothing to lose, except my hard earned money Embarassed

that's why I try to swap stuff because then I can try new stuff AND get rid of the stuff that just didn't work...and all you pay is the shipping costs.

I think it'll sell on ebay too. I've never used ebay before, I'm kinda nervous about it....

Hi Guapagirl! Let me go to the graveyard and pull them out Laughing I have:
Decleor harmonie delicate soothing emulsion-only used once...
DDF EPF Serum C3-nearly full bottle...
Dermalogica gentle soothing booster and multivitamin power mask, only used a couple times...
Decleor hydrotenseur eye contour firming serum-almost full bottle...
Dermalogica sheer tint moisturizer in medium- only used a couple times...and
Decleor aromessence rose d'orient-about 3/4 bottle...they are all wonderful products, barely used because I have the most sensitive skin and if I react to something its right away!
I haven't had any hits on ebay as of yet, doesn't look too promising..I'm going to put my products on MUA's swap, sounds much easier!

Hi Moosette

Im an experienced Ebayer Dancing and let me give you a tip that will rake in some extra profit - Dermalogica and Decleor products go for extortionate prices in the UK compared to EDS, so list those items on Ebay UK. Postage will be more, but if you charge exactly what it costs you then it still shouldnt be too much.

List the DDF item on Ebay USA - they tend to go for loads on there.

The products that you have are very expensive here in the UK, so you should make a decent sum. Ive sold used products in the past and actually got more for them than what I paid in the first place!

Trust me, I know what im talking about. My oh my how I just felt like saying "Trust me, Im a Doctor" Laughing !

Anyway I hope that helps.

Farouk
