I am considering getting breast implants. Not large ones, just a cup size up from what I am. If anyone has had this procedure done please tell me. I would love to hear what all you have to tell me before I get it done. I don't know anyone who has had this done so it would be a huge help to discuss it before I go through with it. Maybe you can give me advice Embarassed Anyways Very Happy

Hi shoegal! Like you, I've considered small implants as well, but after reading that they don't always hold up forever and may need to be replaced after 10-15 yrs., I'm extremely wary. Besides this, they can become incapsulated which creates unnatural firmness. Plus, they can shift! I don't want to be 70 yrs. old and needing replacement/corrective surgery for something like this, or having them simply removed at some point in my old age and having breasts that look like deflated balloons.

I'll be interested in what kind of feedback you get -- I think there are a few forum members who've had breast augmentation.

My friend had implants about 2-3 years ago. I think they look fantastic. She had no problems and loves them.
Trust me if they dont droop when you are an old lady you will be the odd one out. In my proper job I have to tuck the boobies under the armpits to change wet pads. Rolling Eyes

I have been checking before and after photos and I realized that the implants that were placed underneath the muscle looked much more natural.

my sister got breast implants about 7 years ago. She got saline implants under the muscle..they are still very firm, but shes only 5'2 and 100 lbs with a size 34 C Rolling Eyes It doesnt look natural on her, and they are very hard looking. She has lost sensation in her boobs im pretty sure...you could pinch them and she wouldnt know. She just laughs about it? i'd be freaking out! She's almost 31 by the way...

OMG ! Surprised I'm 5'2 and weigh 100 pounds. So the C doesn't look natural on her? I guess I better go with a smaller size then.

Just going by her figure..she does not have much difference from her waist to hips...more of a little boyish figure; then bam! big boobies. Not a very natural look. She's actually my half sister...im 5'6 and curvy ..size 36C...the C looks much different on her than me. So, yeah...maybe you might want a low C or a high B?

I dont know about your Doctor but my friend was told to fill plastic bags with a certain amount of water in and put them in her bra and walk round the house with it to see if she liked how it looked (under a top obviously). The surgeon told her exactly how much water equalled the cup sizes she was interested in. Obviously you want strong well sealed bags. It did help her choose the correct size. A good surgeon should tell you what size will look nice/normal on you and what will look hideous and really false.
