I recently purchased this cleanser from EDS, choosing it because it has a mild AHA blend of 1% as well as botanical extracts.
I must say this is one great cleanser! I really like the faint yummy orange smell.
This cleanser is also great in removing oil and make up, but rest assured, is not drying at all. (at least for oily skin types like myself)
My skin is oily yet dehyrdrated, but this cleanser does not make my skin tight, it just cleanses deeply yet gently.
It has not caused any irritation or breakouts on my VERY sensitive skin. So it should be very safe to use.
However, my only gripe about this is that it contains the taboo Sodium Laureth Sulfate. I've heard that this chemical is bad, but apparently it is listed as the second ingredient of this cleanser, only after water.
Perhaps it is crucial to make this gel based cleanser foam, but nonetherless, it appears to be a flaw.
However, I really trust the skinceuticals line, and I would still recommend this product, if you don't mind that chemical.

i was also tempted to try the line of cleansers, and the lip repair stuff (needed something REALLY nourishing) but on reading the ingredients they did let me down.
really looking forward to reading your review about the lip repair! |
