What is DMAE? Someone here once recommended it for the little patch of dermatitis I sometimes get around my chin, but most others said it isn't suitable for that. This aside, what does it do?
Thanks

it is supposed to lift/firm the skin. Not heard of it being used for dermatitis though. |

mtview: No I didn't know I could have edited my post!!!! How do I do that? The customer service rep was not that nice but it really was a typo!!!!
Also I found what looks like a good serum at the health food store with DMAE, Vit C ester, ALA, Oat, vit E by Nutribiotic for a good price. I'm going to try it and I'll let everyone know what I think. |

I just found the edit button! I never even knew that was there so I went back and edited my post. Honestly I did not do that as a joke and was horrified by it- that is just bad manners (in my opinion). But now I know how to edit posts!!! |

I can't live without my DMAE. I use Ehealing hands. I find the consistency suits me . I did try another one recommended on the DY site, not the one just mentioned,(wish I could remember the name) and found it a little too heavy. I would like to try the reviva next time. I always have to consider the shipping costs to AU and I do get a good deal on my combined purchases from E healing. |

Hi M.April,
I use the Reviva DMAE as a nighttime moisturizer mainly because it also includes the Vitamin C Ester and Alpha Lipoic Acid. I researched a variety of DMAE (affordable)options- http://skincareresourcecenter.com/DMAE.html - and tried several of them but settled on the Reviva because I liked the texture and it wasn't too "heavy" feeling. I do think everyone's skin and preferences are quite different so having options to choose from are important.
I also keep a tube of the RoC Actif Pur (retinol cream) with SPF 15 in my pocketbook so I can reapply sunscreen that is also an anti-aging moisturizer throughout the day when I need to. RoC is at least easy to find at most drugstores or big department stores and not too expensive! |
