Excellent! I have been having problems with the skin on the bottom of my feet...always dry and rough, and lately both heels have had large cracks which have been extremely painful. My Mom gave me a sample of Gehwol Balm (says it's a new product on the tube) and I have been completely satisfied. Anything else I have tried, and there have been lots of different things, didn't work very well, resulted in slippery/sticky feet, and I wasn't encouraged to continue using them. BUT, with Gehwol Balm the cream gave me amazing results, the cracks healed up in a couple days, no sticky/slippy feet, the cream made my feet feel like I'd just had them massaged. I also love the scent, very invigorating. Finally, when putting the cream on my feet I don't feel like I need to wash it off my hands afterwards - it's doing them a world of good as well. Gehwol Balm is one of those rare skin creams that is enjoyable to put on and leave on, and the results were nothing short of amazing....I love having my happy, pain-free feet back. |

Used best for severe hard skin, dry or rough skin, or very cracked skin.
The salve is based on a well-tried mixture of special soaps and selected skin friendly oils. Helps protect against inflammation and symptoms linked with cracked skin. By regular use the skin will regain its natural elasticity and resistibility and will be protected.

Hi SusanBee,
which one are you exactly talking about? My ankle is super dry too... I am think of the Gehwol Medicated Foot Salve one. However, I heard from others that this specific one is very sticky compared to their blue cream. |

Hi....the tube says Gehwol Balm, dry rough skin and then it has "new" on the tube as well. Says it's "refreshing, invigorating foot balm, with a soothing, deodorising action; prevents athlete's foot."
Hope this helps. |

This is a fab foot balm! I had a sample of it ages ago and reviewed it just based on that (http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=692) but I wasn't able to find the actual one to buy. I've looked at what EDS stocks but I can't identify which one it is - the pictures on the tubes look a bit different to the picture on the sample I got. Seeing as you have one, would you be able to have a look at http://www.essentialdayspa.com/gehwol-foot-cream-blue-p_1452.htm and let me know if this is the one? I think it is but they call it a "cream" whereas the one that I have been after for a while is called "Gehwol Foot Balm - dry & rough skin" TIA |

I can't find the product on essentialdayspa.com but it is onwww.gehwolonline.com. I went to that site, searched the word balm and then it came up....Gehwol Balm - dry rough skin. You might also want to check some of your local manicure/pedicure stores....I have a feeling the Gehwol products are not in regular retail outlets, only at the specialty shops. Good luck. |

Thank you Susan! Gehwol is probably not stocked in Australia but I'll look online after checking the Gehwol official site. I must say I always thought it was odd that I got the sample from EDS but EDS doesn't seem to sell it.... |

I am so delighted!!!! I received the Gehwol Med Salve free with purchase from EDS.
My Scottie Maggie has been suffering for over a year with constant licking of her paws. No other part of her body does she go after but her paws. Maggie is a a Wheaten Scottie so she is very fair with pinkish skin. Her paw pads get so red unless I am on top of it constantly. I have tried everything for Maggie (special diet, supplements, med shampoos, Emu Oil). My vet wanted me to put her on steroids but I refuses. I have been just trying to keep her comfortable with baking soda rinses and med. powder.
The other day I decided to try the Gehwol on her paws. After application I kept her in the same room as I was afraid she would start licking her paws. I did not want Maggie to ingest the Gehwol. Maggie did not lick her paws for the rest of the night. The next morning the redness on Maggie's pads was nearly gone. I think I found my miracle for Maggie.
Thank you EDS for the free gift. I will be purchasing the full size. |

This stuff is fantastic, isn't it Winnie! I had a graze on my elbow that ended up as really dry, cracked skin and it's almost gone now thanks to this. |
