Did Devita change the packaging of the Solar Protective Moisturizer SPF 30? I think, it sells it in a JAR now? |
I am not sure about now, but the first few times I bought it, it was in a glass bottle, the last time I bought it, it was in a see-through tube. |

Hmm that's weird.. I just bought that sunscreen from Vitacost a month ago and it came in the tube (picture was also of a tube). Maybe you should check with their customer service before you buy it to make sure what the packaging is. I feel like it might be a mistake on their end. |

This was my thought also, Russiansunshine. I wondered if they just had a picture of the old Devita for some reason. I can't imagine why they would go back to jars! |

riley and oasisjc, you are both right. I contacted Vitacost, and they said that they forgot to change the picture, it is packaged in a tube! Yay! |

Does anyone know if Devita sunblocks expire after a certain time after opening since it doesn't contain preservatives? |

Seems like I saw somewhere that you should use it within 6 months of opening, but I don't have a source. |

For oilier skin, which Devita are you guys using - the DeVita
Natural Skin Care Solar Protective Moisturizer 30 SPF or DeVita
Natural Skin Care Solar Body Block 30 SPF?
Also, have you noticed that 7 oz of the body block costs the same as 2.5 oz of the other?! |

The body block is more moisturizing as it has Shea butter in it. It could be too rich for oily skin. You could try it and it you don't like it on your face, you can still use it on your body! |

Wow, I didn't realize the moisturizer had less zinc! Pay attention, LoriA!

Interesting because my skin is oily so I use the moisturizer in winter and the body block in all other seasons. I'm pretty sure my skin gets oilier using the moisturizer, even in winter. I probably won't buy again, esp. given the low zinc.
Sorry, I haven't skimmed this whole thread but in the other one Firefox has mentioned this Devita product (Ultra Solar 50):
http://www.amazon.com/DeVita-Professional-Skin-Care-Ultra/dp/B001BAFJUY/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
Has anyone with oily skin compared it to the body block in terms of oiliness/shine?
I guess they've changed the packaging... I'm going to miss the pretty white tube! |

Just wanna say thanks for the helpful reviews, both in this thread and in the thread for reviewing Burnout sunscreen. I'm currently trying to decide which one to go with. I just started using Retin-A .025% cream, so I need a good, natural, zinc SS. |
