You don't have to do any special prep for Mandelic. I use MUAC's 25%. I stopped for a while as I was using the Palovia daily, but have started the Mandelic weekly again. I love this stuff! It plumps up my skin nicely (temporarily, alas...) and does fade red pigment spots.
Even the 25% is pretty gentle (my skin is normal, not sensitive though), I can go out right afterwards and look fine (due to the plumping). A day or two later, I get a little flaking, but very manageable. |
Hi! im pretty new here but trying to do a lot of research...I recently bought the same MA25% from MUAC and did one peel about a month ago...i could definitely tell its a winner. but as i have started getting moderate acne (Im 29, asian, oily, hormones going crazy after having a baby last year) i somehow assumed the SA peel from a local medspa would help more. im 5 days in, lots of peeling and just not as satisfying. i am not expecting overnight results but i am already looking forward to sticking with MA. do you know how soon i can use the MA after an 20% SA peel. do i have to wait until my skin completely finishes peeling? or can i buy a weaker serum that i can use sooner? my skin is not too sensitive and i am certainly at the point close to desperation. |

I would wait until your skin is healed from the SA peel before doing the MA again. You don't want to introduce new problems by exfoliating too much.
I find the MA to be gentle, yet effective. Try using it weekly, as they recommend and see how this works for you. |
