Ok I know that many people on here are a fan of Zinc Oxide based sunscreens but I wanted to write a review of this sunscreen because although it is a chemical one I like it so much I think it is worth talking about.
The reason I purchased this sunscreen is because it was recommended by a dermatologist I saw a couple of months ago. It smells of apricots and is a tan colour and it goes on well and leaves no traces. I am aware it is a chemical based sunscreen when I have it on but only very slightly. I do not feel suffocated by it and it does not sting my skin which is good because my skin is pretty sensitive and does not tolerate chemicals in products at all well.
Over all I will say for me this sunscreen is a keeper. At £18 for 15ml I guess some might say it is more on the expensive side but I definitely think it is worth it. I have tried other sunscreens but have been unsatisfied with them as they have either left a white cast, been to thick, broken me out or been heavily perfumed. I also feel confident with the fact that a top uk dermatologist recommended it to me with no hesitation in his voice so am guessing he really does like this sunscreen. |

Thanks for the review! So are you saying that it is tinted? How would that work for fair skin? Thanks! |

Am not aware of it actually tinting my skin. Think it may just be the apricots which give it that colour. I can say it works very well for fair skin though as I have fair skin |

The idea of a gel ss still gets me jealous. I miss the naive days of using chemical sunscreens without knowing the damage they do Lol
I hope one day they make them safer so I can join you |

What damage do they do? Are you sure because why would a top uk dermatologist who also give lectures recommend it if it does damage? Sorry if I sound naive... |

Just wanted to give an update on this sunscreen. Over the week my skin took a turn for the worst. I now have what looks like psoriasis on my face and neck and am pretty sure it is caused by this sunscreen! Oh well was worth a try anyway.
.... back to physical sunscreens... |

Sorry Moon it didn't work out for you. I would love to find a gel based sunscreen. It sounds so much better then a heavy lotion type for my oily skin. |
