I had been using Suntegrity BB Cream, which has fantastic coverage but really feels like it's stifling my skin. It feels like a coating of latex over my face, and leaves me with a terrible shine that I must cover up with mineral powder. So I was at Naimie's a couple months ago in North Hollywood, and the salesperson convinced me to try the Too Faced BB cream. I was skeptical at first, because I'm not that wowed by any of the brand's other products. But I really loved the texture--it's more spreadable and breathable than the Suntegrity, but fairly close. This product uses more Titanium Dioxide than Zinc oxide, but it is perfect for midwestern winters, when I'm mostly indoors and want a great combination tinted moisturizer/sunscreen to even out my skin texture and tone.
It does all of that, feels great on my skin, and most of the ingredients look beneficial to the skin to me. It does have silicones in it, but it also contains antioxidants and skin-friendly actives.
All in all, I feel great about wearing this all day and prefer it to the Suntegrity.
I highly recommend it!

Thank you very much for your review, avalange. I was just placing an order (trying to get back on the skincare bandwagon after a very long hiatus) and your review caught my eye. Hopefully I can add to it in a few weeks time, I've been looking for a good BB cream. |

I dont worry much about the silicones but it has a very high amount of Propylene Glycol, and as far as i know Propylene Glycol interferes with cell growth or division or something like this, sorry dont remember exact words... |

I was looking at this on EDS too and noticed that it also gets great reviews on Sephora and a "best" rating in Beautypedia. It's definitely on my list to try too. |

Oh no, should I be worried about the ingredients? I love the consistency, everything about it (and you can get it here on EDS!).
The formulation is supposed to be more skin-friendly than most.

The problem with this BB cream is that the shades are too dark and pink for my light skin. |
