I'd like to start by saying that this is very dangerous territory for me here. I'm already a HUGE fan of the Valmont Renewing Pack (as many of you are as well ) so when I got to try new Valmont stuff I was very excited and hesitant at the same time. Excited because I know they make some really good stuff, hesitant because I know how much it's going to cost me if I end up liking it....
I didn't buy the Infinite Radiance Serum but I got a 2mL sample of it with my latest EDS order. I think it's a new product, or relatively new anyway.
The serum contains vit C and some of the other high quality ingredients that Valmont is quite famous for (according to magazines anyway). The 2mL sample lasted me almost 1.5 weeks with day and night use. So, seeing as the full-size is 30mL, it should last around 5 months of day and night use. I only needed one drop each time.
The serum itself is a thickish milky coloured lotion and, yes, it has that beautiful Valmont smell that the Renewing Pack has. It's not exactly the same smell, but very close to it. So, of course, by the time I figured this out I was already half addicted I always assumed that it was only the Renewing Pack that smelt so nice (not quite sure what my reasoning was there ). This is the only other product that I have tried in the Valmont range (up until a week ago )and I must say that I really like it.
To me it does not have the same dramatic effect that the Renewing Pack has, but I guess that's not the point of the serum. The Renewing Pack is a treatment mask whereas this is an everyday serum that, with consistent use, promises to keep our skin healthy looking
I don't know that I see any obvious improvement in my skin after the 1.5 weeks but I don't think that you should expect anything magical to happen in such a short period of time. I also have to stress that, at the moment, there is really nothing wrong with my skin in the first place *touch wood*. I can surely say that this serum was a pleasure to use and that I can see myself purchasing it when I get a bit older and my skin gives me a bit more trouble (though I hope that never happens! :P).
I had no breakouts and no sensitivity using this. Another good point is that it leaves skin really smooth and very "touchable". It's one of those products that you can't help but touch your face after (and can't help but smell your hands after applying it too! :P)

Edited to add: ... that I have just started using the Valmont Regenetic cream (hence my earlier "until last week" comment ). I'm using it as a night cream only and, of course, loving the fragrance. I'll let you know in about a month's time how it's going (if you are intersted that is!). |
