And thats right here the dialectics of existence.

If you ask for something the very fact of asking makes you ugly.
For example if you ask for love, you wont get love. You cant get love when you ask for it.

In a similar manner, beauty comes when you dont ask for beauty.
You can be seen by others as beautiful, only when you are not asking beauty. The very fact of not asking makes you beautiful, makes you relaxed.

I might learn to just ride the wave and care about the act itself not the result. Results are for ugly businessmen.

You cant conquer beauty ,you can only relax and let beauty surround you.
Just like you cant bring the sun into your home, but you can open the window.
Jst like you cant possess air in your fist, but you can relax and feel the air with an oen hand.

Caring for results creates only problems.Never something positive.

Not true. When I was an ugly duckling teenager I made a list of all the things about my body I wanted to change. I have done just about everything at this point. Worth every penny!

Ah, the lust for results. That can thwart any process.

I am certainly not the only one who, looking at old pictures, realises that I was not half as ugly as I thought I was. But somehow you don't get to see it until it's gone.

So yes, I agree, trying to be 'beautiful' which most often means trying to comply with standard that are not realistic, will make you feel, and act, more ugly and selfconscious.
Happiness is the greatest beautifier.

To pass through this step you have to be here or in similar places Wink

You have to die in order to live.

You have to be ugly(Like asking for results here) in order to be beautiful when you break free.

Thats how things work.

If you believe this why are you asking for a DIY receipe for pigmentation? You shouldn't need it.

Isnt the nature of the asking, the important point?

If we ask from a position of humility -yes, we know we are fortunate indeed to have time and resources to focus on external appearances - and gratitude,ie thankyou for the blessing of time and wealth to concern ourselves with appearances..from a position of caring and celebration of the feminine..that we want to give what we can to life and those around us, to be as lovely as possible to honour our mothers and fathers and to gift this level of care as a model of cherishing to our children, and certainly to extend the whole ethos of cherishing and preservation to those around us and in our own psyches.

If our asking is from this heart position, then this is a creative act.

If we demand, from an entrenched greedy ego position, then yes, I agree with you Panos.

The funny thing is..its perfectly possible to relish deep thought as well as live, unblock the sink, bake great cakes, decorate the house, dress well, have close friendships and make candles if you have the inclination to do so.

May we all

Beauty is really in the eye of the beholder.

One man we work with, thinks his wife is truly the most beautiful women ever. They are happy together.

If he thinks she is beautiful; why would we disagree with him?

Catski speaks wisely here. Asking is important if you wish to receive. However you must learn to ask correctly. If asked incorrectly, through the Law of Attraction, you may well create the situation which you are trying to move away from. i.e. if you say I want to be beautiful, you tell the universe that you are not currently beautiful and the universe will respond by creating that reality for you. However if you say I am grateful for this most beautiful physical being that I possess and also for the beautiful person that this magnificent world is causing me to become then you will be in harmony with universal laws and your thoughts will manifest in to reality.

What I like to understand about what panoslydios is saying is that in an ideal world, we should enjoy the journey (taking care of ourselves) and don't stress about reaching the destination because ultimately, with this peaceful state of mind, we will arrive. I personally am not that cool BTW...

hmmm? I never even consider the women on this forum as "trying..or asking" to be beautiful.

I always thought we were all just trying to look our best beautiful selves.

I have a lot of hard times dealing with Panos and his posts because often there can be a level of truth to them, but its bypassed with silly statements and ineundos that are portrayed as facts and in reality are nothing more than fiction.

Example – he talks here about the ‘dialectics of existence’ without actually a clear comprehension of what that is. It’s a completely out of date methodology for resolving conflict that doesn’t work in the world. Even at the time of its introduction it wasn’t received favourably and was rarely used.

When Panos says: “If you ask for something the very fact of asking makes you ugly.” This is actually completely incorrect according to dialetctics of existence and untrue. Its actually just his personal opinion and not in line with the theories of dialectics. Likewise his explanation of “You have to die in order to live” is again complete and utter nonsense that he is using. Its not at all true – you do not have to die to live – but most of us are not living as much as we could be living simply because we are unaware of it.

Likewise results are not just for “ugly” businessmen. Results can be great indicators that what you are doing is working or not working, so to rubbish anyone who has an interest or focus on results is very revealing of Panos and his nature.

Panos is very opinionated and passionate about his stuff, which I like, but there is a fine line between trying to make people adopt your points of views compared with making out that what you are saying is completely true and factual when not even 5% of it is so

Absolutely I'm in my 60's now and wouldn't go back to looking how I did in my 30's at all, but I want to look as good and best as I can for my age. For me its not about going backwards - but going forwards looking and feeling healthy and alive. To me asking for things, whether its beauty, or health, is one way of getting the universe which is abundant to start delivering things to us in all shapes and sizes. Without asking you don't get really is my interesting thoughts/beliefs.
