I recently started having pain from TMJ. My whole face hurts and it goes down into my neck and shoulder. I got a NightGuard from my dentist ($400) but it's not been helping much. I do have wisdom teeth that are through my gums and I'm wondering if that may be the cause. My family physician just told me to take Advil.
I don't have much response on this website to my posts anymore, but I am hoping someone will give me the benefit of her/his experience.
Thank you and I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and let us all hope peace will return to our world in 2015. |

ShastaGirl,
Thanks so much for your response! I ordered the Zyflamend today. I noticed that one of the ingredients is Turmeric, which I have been reading about lately. It is supposed to be a powerful anti-inflammatory. Advil is very temporary and I've heard it's not good to take too much of it.
I'll let you know how it works, and thanks so much again for the referral. |

I wonder if a natural muscle relaxant, like magnesium, would help. Also a meditation CD and stretching, no sugar, before bed.
I have a nightguard and when I first got it I was biting down hard on it but now I rhink I've gotten used to it |
