Hello everyone,

I have decided to sell my Philips Reaura - as I noted in a previous thread I have way too many devices and need to downsize.

It works and comes with the box, etc.

I know some buy equipment on here - but I was also thinking of putting it on Ebay - but I am thinking of potential problems.

Like what if someone did something really stupid (think too close to eye area) or something and harmed themselves. Would there be any liability on my part?

I don't have much hesitation with the micro current items as I don't think they can cause much damage - but after watching an idiotic vlog of someone improperly using a micro dermabrasion unit (and instead of seeking medical help got advice from online users!) - that causes me some worry.

So, has anyone sold anything like that on Ebay?

Thanks,
Issy

I have bought and sold on Ebay for over a decade. I've never sold any beauty devices ...though I've bought a few.
I have, however, sold commercial equipment that could be far more deadly than one of these devices...things such as a 1200 lb antique guillotine type paper cutter (imagine the potential), a 500 lb 52" wide heat laminater, commercial paper folders, hole punchers and paper presses.

No, you will not be held responsible for the idiocy of any buyer. As long as your item is not faulty there's no issue. Just be honest about the condition it's in and take clear pictures of the item and you're good to go.
People sell these types of items all the time. It is not the sellers fault if someone misuses them.

Thank you!

I have listed it.

Probably more than I should have - I'm more used to selling photographic equipment! So, we'll see what happens.

Thanks for the positive stories! Those are quite unique products that you sold!

Thanks,
Issy

Hello,

I am interested in using someone's device at home that burns or uses cryotherapy to shed fat.

My friend wants to do this, I already had liposuction lol.

She is interested in buying the machine or compensating for the time of using someone's at home "fat shedding" machine.

Just a question,
Thank you for reading.
