A good tip from Renee Rouleau:
"What we know now is that the skin's repair processes are not necessarily when you are sleeping but when the day goes from light to dark."

Anyone do their skin care early in the evening |

That's so interesting!
I like to freshen up early evening when I get home from work by cleansing and toning, followed by a basic moisturiser (eg Elemis Procollagen or H2o Plus). However, I reserve my most expensive moisturiser for overnight use out of habit. |

I always try to do my nightly skincare ritual as early as possible to get it out of the way, but sometimes you can't help but do it later! LOL.
It's good to know that it helps me more on the nights I get it done sooner! Thank you. |

I try to wash my face as early as possible.
1. Don't want to rush at the last minutes
2. I apply different products and like the wait time in between. |

I am trialing a new skin care routine: I put on Tea Tree cleansing gel IN THE MORNING STILL IN BED (in the dark) to kill the mites that might have been mating on my face because daylight makes the mites crawl back into the pores and this make it harder to kill them.
Here is an abstract from the full article
"After that, the female mites lay eggs in the pores. If there are many mites in one pore, they cause the skin pore to stretch and become more visible. At night when male mites are looking for mates, you might feel them crawling on your skin."
