I bought the Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion because I needed something without any active ingredients, which was very moisturizing. I suffer from breakouts from time to time and have quite oily skin, but it still gets dry during winter. I just started using Retin A and could not find something which was moisturizing without breaking me out. So I bought the Cetaphil despite never using drugstore brands before. I used to be all for natural and organic products, but they really breaks me out. I must say that the Cetaphil is really doing the job. I only use it as a night cream over the Retin A as it would probably be to sticky to use over make-up, but no dryness or peeling after starting using the Cetaphil. And no breakouts. I highly recommend it! |

I'm surprise to hear (but glad for you) that the Cetaphil is moisturizing enough after your Retin-A. Just goes to show that everybody's skin is different! |

Cetaphil moisturizer works the best to all our family in winter time. When we suffer from the dry, itchy skin, Cetaphil so far is the only cream that can moisturize just right and calm the itchy skin. It seems CeraVe is pretty good, too. But, I haven't tried that yet because CeraVe is kind of hard to find. Very often, they do not ship internationally. |

I feel the same. I can think of a thousand better products than Cetaphil to counter the side effects of Retin A.

I used it, but it doesn't fit me. I don't like it. |
