I use alpha hydrox 12% on my face because i want to get rid of hyperpigmentation and red marks on my face. I am very lazy and many times would use way too much from the tube. Many times i don't even apply it proplery, i just smear it over my face. Just 2 days ago, i squeezed too much from the bottle. Then i decided to basically speared it all over my forehead. Not only did i do that, i didn't even like put it on correctly. Imagine your forehead had spots where like sunscreen on where you just put dots all over your face but don't even fully massage it into your face etc.
It wasn't until later that night, i notice, my entire forehead, all the skin is very rough. I was inside my apt all day and using the computer so that is why i just left it on like that. Previously i have done similar where i just overput AHA over my face but i don't think this has ever happened before. Yesterday i basically did not do anything or put anything on my forehead. So now its 2 days when its like this.
Do i need to see a dermatologist? What do i put on my forehead to heal it? Do i have chemical burn?
I have some fruit of the early aloe vera gel but im pretty sure it expired as i had it for years. Should i buy some aloe vera gel? This would be the store and in bottle though.
I also have manuka honey though. Can i use manuka honey on it? I actually put a lot of it and smeared it over my forehead. I know manuka honey is good at healing wounds etc. I am going to be in my apartment all day etc so i don't mind smearing it all over my forehead. But i don't need gauze right or anything to cover it? So can i leave it on all day, then wash my face with cold water, and do the same thing again and leave the honey over my forehead overnight?
Now if i do not use anything at all, would it heal or would it not? My concern is if my skin stays like this. I mean my entire forehead if you touch it, its extremely rough patch. Is that a chemical burn? There is no pain though on my forehead. |
