Customer Feedback Sites - Reliable?

My brother has been thinking of doing something about his hair (or lack of it) and it makes me uneasy. I have been looking at customer feedback sites. Are these reliable? I trust Amazon because I also leave feedback there. What about other sites? How reliable are they?

If you're looking for reviews for a particular business/company better consult those who have actually tried their services. I work for a website marketing company and all I can say is not all reviews you see online are true, some of it probably comes from legit customers but the rest are all fabricated.

Thank you for the reply. I understand what you mean. I have been looking online these past weeks. I even found some videos and they seem so scripted. I did find bosley reviews in one website that seems okay mainly because it is an independent site. That should be a good gauge, right? Thank you again.

Look at the realself.com plastic surgery website and search for various hair transplant pages. Read the answers from docs in your city to get an idea of cost and if they are any good. I wouldn't go to a chain like Bosley but to a real plastic surgeon or dermatologist who specializes in hair replacement.

I was under the impression that those people at Bosley or hair clinics are doctors too? I found some videos about Bosley on youtube and made me curious, but I held back calling them because of your comment. What gives?

Not all docs are the same. Just look at all the people with bad plastic surgery, done by doctors. My impression is that these clinic franchises are just out to make the most amount of money. If you go to a high end hair salon ask some of the hairdressers who they would recommend based on the results of their own clients. They've seen the good and the horrible.
