This is actually a question to be well discussed. All of us are unique in nature and the same is the case with our skin textures. People with dry, oily, sensitive, combination, eczema-prone and acne-prone skin textures have to use skin care products that are dermatologically formulated and clinically approved. It is not much compulsory for people with normal skin textures to use a lot of skincare products. But adding a normal cleanser and moisturizer will be a great idea to maintain the glow of your skin. |

Each specific skincare product has its own purpose and benefit. For example, a cleanser’s purpose is to remove impurities, oil, and any debris that may, in turn, clog your pores, and cause breakouts. Certain types of cleansers like cleansing oils, help break down makeup, help your skin be clean, and prevent clogged pores. Toners help ensure that your skin is clean from factors such as pollution! Exfoliators are there to remove any dead skin, and help combat dullness, and prevent breakouts. Moisturizers add hydration and moisture to the skin, to keep your skin from overproducing oil and sebum, which can cause acne. They also help maintain the skin’s natural barrier healthy. It’s important to take care of your skin’s natural barrier because it helps the skin be able to repair itself, and it keeps you healthy and protected. Sunscreen keeps UVA and UVB rays from causing damage, hyperpigmentation, and skin cancer.
Serums have different purposes. For example, ceramide serums help with redness, helps the skin retain moisture, and helps repair and keep the skin’s natural barrier healthy. A serum containing Vitamin A can help with anti-aging, hyperpigmentation, and dryness among many other conditions. It really depends on your skin type, age, and skin concerns. |

Yes, it's always good to use skin products when not doing makeup to moisturize and nourish the skin. |

The phrase skincare brings to mind three things: skin cancer, dry skin, and a long aisle of beauty products at your local drugstore. But it’s more than a surface-level concern. While a skincare routine may sound like high maintenance, in reality, the steps for healthy skin are not only necessary, they’re easy to implement too |

Absolutely. While having a skincare routine may seem like just a cosmetic necessity, a skincare routine is not just to help you look good, it's essential for your skin's health. |

Skincare products are definitely important if you want to maintain healthy and youthful skin. That being said, creams and even prescription products will not stop you from aging. If you already have lines, wrinkles, etc. medical treatments may be needed to reverse them! |

Absolutely. While having a skincare routine may appear to be merely a cosmetic necessity, it is essential for the health of your skin. Consider this. Your skin is your body's largest organ. |
