Using effiderm 0,05% tretinoin, i'm 28 just started it i'd say 2 weeks ago. At first once a week, now two times a week approximately, but I avoid using it if i know the next day there's gonna be a lot of sun.
I have fine lines in my nasolabial folds, I hate them a lot, so I hope the tretinoin can remove them as they are really fine but I see them and it makes my folds look deeper than it used to before.
My routine when I use tretinoin:
Gentle cleanser
HA serum
Larocheposay cicaplast cream mixed with tretinoin, a tiny pea size
Well everything went well until one day I woke up and the wrinkle LOOKED HUGE!! It's more prominent on my left cheek. And wow and now I feel like it's less huge but it still looks worse than it was before and it won't improve.
Is it normal? Should I continue and wait it out |

Is it possible that you slept on your side? I find that makes a big difference and try to sleep on my back. On days when I have slept in my side I do get new lines. Can be scarey as it is sudden but it does go away when I resume sleeping on my back. Side sleeping can also exacerbate development of lines between the breasts.
This might not be the cause of your wrinkle, but then again it might. I am sure that this tip will help a few. Simple but effective habit to use in addition to retin a. |
