I am still on the fence about this product
When I first put it on it seems pretty heavy and clogging but by the time I get to work I don't really seem to notice it. I am wondering if it is the brush (smashbox #19) applying it too heavy, so I will try the brush with my mineral makeup to see if there is a difference. Definetely do not like the sponge that they put with the product
I have not tried the product wet...and would probably never use it in that way (way tooooo much coverage for me).
Probably will just have to stick with mineral makeup ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

I tried the brush (smashbox #19) with my mineral makeup and had the same effect...I think the brush is so dense that it picks up alot of powder at one time.
I was reading in another thread about others fine blond hairs on their face being accented by powder and I think that is exactly what is happening to me
The powder does seem to set after a while and look fairly natural so I will be keeping it. It doesn't feel heavy or clogging like my mineral makeup (youngblood) ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

Hi, I have the same problem with this brush. The make up looks too heavy when you apply with it. ![Confused](images/smiles/confused.gif) |

I find that if you really tap off the excess it is much better! I also think alot of my problem is all the little, fine blonde hairs and the powder gets trapped in it and then looks (to my eye anyway) obvious.....but after awhile when my skin starts to produce some oil it looks much more natural ![Very Happy](images/smiles/biggrin.gif) |

My skin is normal to dry and I think it is pretty good, but probably not if you have dry patches as it might accentuate them. I am using Intensive Moisture Balance from Dermalogica as my moisturizer and I find that it is a little greasy, so when I put the powder over top it sops up some of the slick. The powder looks really natural 15-20 minutes after application once it mixes with your own skin oils. I would think that a liquid would be better for really dry skin ![Confused](images/smiles/confused.gif) |
