Hello everyone,
I was waiting for two weeks before I decided to give a review of Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance. I had a very bad reaction to Dr. H products, and I decided to order Dermalogica. I am so happy that I did !!! My skin was feeling relieved as soon as I put it on. I thought that I have to try for a few days to see if this cream is really good for me. It has a very light texture, not greasy. It goes right into your skin without feeling sticky or oily. I love this cream
I have sometimes oily , sometimes dry skin. Even though this moisturizer designed to combat dry skin I can use it and my skin doesn't brake out. I use it twice morning and evening. I'm not that happy about the smell of the cream, it is kind of minty with slight fruits notes. Usually my skin reacts to everything: changes in weather, cold, wind, lack of sleep, some products and creams. My skin reacts with red spots. After using Dermalogica, my skin seems more hydrated and it is less red. Usually creams or moisturizers designed to combat dry skin will make my pores more visible, but this one didn't make my pores larger. I also ordered Dermalogica Active Moist, I am using it for about a week (between Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance). I like the texture of this moisturizer, very light, not oily.
I am happy that I find these moisturizers!!!!

Hi Lara,
I'm glad you have found and like Dermalogica. Intensive Moisture Balance is one of my favorite moisturizers when I feel dry. Active Moist is a great light moisturizer as well. I have been using Dermalogica for a year and a half and it really helps my skin be healthy and soft. I have recently discovered Barrier Repair as a moisturizer and I love it most of all. It is wonderful for skin that is sensitive. I bet, before long, you'll be getting cleansers, boosters, masks, etc. It's just the kind of a line that gives results and keeps you hooked! |

I completely agree! I've been using Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance for about three weeks and I love it. It goes on smoothly and is absorbed pretty quickly. I hate when you have to wait 20 minutes before you can apply the next product. It also isn't too heavy. My skin isn't overly dry so I was afraid it would make my skin too greasy but I haven't had that problem. I would definitely recommend this product. |

I have been using this since october 05 and it is now my HG moisturizer... it has helped clear up this persistent acne on my forehead that I have had for the past year, gives a nice glow to the skin, and helps to control oil. I don't use any other serums or toners... just the moisturizer combined with the dermalogica multivitamin mask ( that i sometimes use as a night cream) and the multivitamin eye and lip cream. My skin is now problem free and glowing.
Prior to this I have tried biotherm's aquasource which didn't help control the acne even though it was a gel, SKII cream - nothing- i don't know what the hype is all about and most recently la mer, which I think helped soften a crease that I have under my eye so I will be repurchasing it as an eye cream.
btw I am 30-something, with combo-sensitive acne-prone (chin and forehead) skin. I finally realized that I had sensitive skin when I kept breaking out with cystic acne after using laura mercier's tinted moisturizer. I loved how it made my skin glow but now have passed it on to someone else. |

I agree it is an awesome moisturizer. I discovered it few days ago. I found a sample of it at home just in time when my face desperately needed a good hydrating cream. It worked liked a charm. This week we had a very cold and windy day here in Toronto but my face stayed hydrated all day. Yesterday I rushed to a local store to buy a full size. I am so happy I found this moisturizer just when winter started.
And I agree with jemstar, it gives a nice glow to the skin. |
