I believe it's name is Shocking Volume, or something like that. It's a two-part application, with a base coat, and an apparently "amazing" volumizing mascara.
I like volume, but as this new L'Oreal mascara is a bit out of my normal price range, I was wondering what others think of it. Ought I stick to my Voluminous, Rimmel Super Lash, Maybelline Volum' Express???
I love it how cosmetic companies illustrate HUGE lashes in their ads for volumizing formulas. Meanwhile, the model is wearing OBVIOUS false eyelashes, and there has been some digital retouching. |

| I tried this and HATED it! The white stuff is a good lash builder but the mascara wand on the color protion is like the rimmel one that was hot a couple of months/yrs ago. It is like a little comb and it packs on the mascara. I tried to wipe it with a kleenex first but couldnt get enough off. It gets everywhere...it was a waste of money in my book. The only one I have tried with the double tube that I like is Revlon. |

| The white base is absolutely amazing, but I agree that the mascara is very goopy and hard to work with. The one day that I got it just right, several women at work complimented me on my long, thick lashes. I'm thinking about just sticking with the base and trying another mascara on top. I've never used a base so effective ... I even notice that it curls the lashes somewhat. It's really too bad that the mascara is a disappointment. |

| Good to know, and thank you. I think I'll just repurchase my Rimmel Extra Super Lash this weekend, as I can see it's going on-sale for $3.99 at Shoppers Drugmart this weeked. Tried, tested, true, and it works for me. Why pay more? |
