I am all about getting a better "bang for my buck", and refuse to pay more.
As I have previously mentioned, I succeeded in finding the right conditioner for my hair last year, using Suave's Healthy Shine Pro-Vit B5 Conditioner for Coloured Hair. 3 bottles, recently purchased for $1.49 CDN, on-sale. It works as my daily conditioner ... well, every other day, when I wash my hair. My hair is in GREAT condition, despite it's high-lift bleach streaks, and occasional use of blow-dryer & HOOOOOOOT, ceramic flat-iron. ("hot", as in over 400 degrees F!)
Terax Crema has been my favorite for a long, long time. Though this has been an Italian drugstore staple for many years, in North America, it is EXPENSIVE, and a cult favorite. Luckily, I can order a tube for $9 CDN, through our local distributor. Still, it's expensive for a conditioner, even at wholesale.
Terax has a Canadian competitor/counterpart (?) who offers IDENTICAL products, at the Canadian price. KNOW that Uans Haircare is absolutely, 100% identical to Terax! It's a Toronto-based company, but less expensive! No importing costs!
Heads-up, everyone! http://www.uans.com/style.htm |

Wow! I wonder if the stuff is available here in the U.S. and if it is similarly as inexpensive!
I've used different shampoos and conditioners over the years -- some of 'em very pricey. But I always come back to Terax, especially the Crema conditioner. I buy the professional size tub of it, which makes it a little cheaper, but it's still costly. It's not outrageously expensive, but I discovered it years ago when I was a starving student travelling around Europe, and in Italy, it's the price equivalent of Suave!!! |

katee got me hooked on Terax -- it's fantastic to use in the summer when my hair gets frizzy from all of the humidity here. I still use Goldwell Kerasilk in the winter, as Terax makes my hair too limp then.
I checked out the link -- is Uans Crema conditioner the equivalent of Terax Crema? If so, I guess The Uans Miele shampoo is like Terax Miele, which I've been meaning to try (I've used Terax Collagene, but wonder if it's too rich and that's why my hair got limp once the weather was less humid).
Also, can this be ordered via telephone or internet? When I searched for availability within 100 miles, nothing came up.
Thanks for the tip Caspers Mum! |
