I love to put on facial mask at the end of the day, especially when I'm under stress or a bout of blue . To me, if a moisturizer is a true love, mask is a flirt whenever I want to try a new line of ptd. I don't have to make any commitment. Try it once, if I can not stand it, I will move on to the next ...
So here is the story of me and this "mellow yellow" ( word game, Fantasia!) mask from Dermalogica.
I've got this mask last summer for my hurt skin after a week long camping trip: too much sun, too many insect bites, too much lake water bath, too much canned food...And my skin just loved it so much that I just got to use it only twice. The fast recovering of my skin after using this mask was amazing. Thinking that I should save this mask for big troubled times especially in Summer I put it away and almost forgot about it!
Last night, for no reason, I pulled it out from behind dozens of jars and bottles in my bathroom cabinet and put it on my face and sat down to watch the "American Idol Finale" ( Fantasia, you won!). I rinsed it off after 15mins and was so lazy to put on any night cream, even my favorite Cellcosmet Eye Cream, I went to bed right after the show.
This morning, getting ready for work, the first time after a long time I didn't think I need any foundation or powder...Yay! And that was the whole truth. The pores on the sides of my nose, those red marks of old scars from zits, the oily patches I usually got after a sleep were not there. All I had to do was curl and put some mascara on my lashes, add some gloss on my lips and I was ready to run out of the house.
I love my Valmont Renewing Pack, it's my true love. But Dermalogica's can also win my heart ...for a day ...or two... , especially when I need some soothing remedy for my stressed skin and my blue soul... |

Thanks for your good review. I am going to try Valmont Renewing Pack and Dermalogica Microfoliant soon after I saw so many good reviews about them. Now I am adding one more item, Dermalogica Mask, on my to-try list. |

If this is the scarily orange/yellow looking mask then I know which one you're talking about. It looks weird when you have it on but the mask is great. Thanks for reminding me - I think I might reacquaint myself with it tonight |
