Is it just my computer, or does everyone's look this way?

The colors on my screen are a light tan color, and it's very hard to read. Anything I can do to fix this?

Everything else looks ok.

You can go into your browser and over-ride the text properties.

I use firefox myself and I just make the text larger by clicking view, text size, and increase..Makes the gold much easier to read.

I haven't used explorer or netscape in so long I can't tell you how to do it in those browsers...

I really empathize with your sleep problem; I've had the same one for years. One of the things that often helps me the most is changing places. I leave my bed and go sleep on the couch or the guest bed. I have no idea why it works but it works really well most of the time. Also, having some kind of a protein snack, or warm milk and honey can be magical. Sleep tight. Wink

Thank you! I gather this belongs to the thread where I am whinging about waking up every night Smile I hate milk (makes me ill) but made myself a cup of herbal tea when I woke up last night. I think it helped me get back to sleep sooner, I think....

Gayle & Lianne - I will use the "report" feature on this post. Not because it's spam (clearly) but it's the easiest way for me to let EDS know stuff like that. They can then consider this, though I gather that the forum fits into the theme used on the actual EDS site. On my screen the text comes up as a darkish oilve/gold but I have a wide-screen laptop so I have set the text to be bigger and never notice any problems.

MizSlick, if you sleep better when you sleep somewhere other than your bed, try moving your bed over several feet, and if that doesn't work, move it to the other side of the room. Your bed could be sitting an area of disruptive energy fields which can be caused by geopathic stresses, undergound water, satelite dishes, earth faults, earth energy grid systems, and any number of other source (according to Feng Shui experts who specialize in the correlation between health disorders and location-dependent disruptive energy fields).
Also, don't sleep near a red digital display clock (black and green are ok) it will interfere with your energy field.
We live in a sea of energy- even more so these days with all the technology- and it does effect us. Anxious

I think it depends on the type of monitor you have. At home I have no problem seeing the gold lettering, but at work I have to highlight all the topics to see them. Funny thing is both are Dell slim monitors, guess the home one is just newer and better quality.

I wish we'd complained earlier. With all the time I spend here maybe my wrinkles would be a little finer Laughing
