Since we have been on the subject lately...
I have suffered with spots and bad skin since I was a teenager and tried just about every over the counter remedy I could get my hands on (plus a few pharmacy items), but none gave particularly good results. A good day would mean only one or two spots that I could cover with make-up. I used to dream of having clear skin like "normal" people.
A friend recently recommended trying Dermalogica (I won't go into detail on the range as I will post on the general skin topic there) and I had a particularly bad breakout when I went to see the therapist. She applied the medicated clearing gel & gave me a sample to take away which I have been using at home (you only need a little bit so the sample lasts ages - therefore the big "proper" bottles must last a long time)
I was astonished that my skin was virtually clear the next morning - I only needed to wear tinted moisturiser (unheard of for me) to cover a few tiny red patches where they were clearing up. That night I applied a little more & the next day I had the clearest skin I have ever had since I was 12 years old. For the first time in years I am able to wear no makeup & be proud of my skin.
If anyone reading this has bad skin, I would urge you to give it a go - try a sample.

Hi scootercat,
I totally agree about the med. gel, I was totally amazed that it worked so well and so quickly. I've tried sooooo many different kinds of spot cream, but this has got to be one of my favourite, and the bottle lasts for ages - what a bonus! |

Me too tried it and fell in love with it. It doesnt cause peeling or flaking of my skin and is so gentle that I can use it every night. Definitely a gem to keep for the rest of my life, cross my fingers that my skin does not get immune to it! |
