Hey all!
I've decided to take my DIY up a notch and try to make my own shampoo. And by make... of course I mean buy a bunch of ingredients from The Personal Formulator and add my own EOs.
My question is... do I need additives for the SLS-free base? They have a whole bunch that thicken or add protein or moisturize, etc., and I just don't know what I need. Would I be better off not adding any chemicals? Or can anyone recommend any specific ones?
I have long, straight, fine, dark hair with a pretty oily scalp. Ends have been color treated in the past, but right now all I have going is a temporary (28 day) color to try to make it evenly dark.
Any advice? I'm itching to spend and mix!
Thanks!!! |
