right now im looking like freddy from nightmare on elm street lol face is beetroot red rileygirl to answer ur question ive been using 0.05 of tretonin with the obagi kit,no other brands-my regime usually is i apply 0.05 on my face first then follow it up with the blender then the clear this is after cleaning and toning, im getting very disheartened as the days go on all im seeing is results similar to what u would get if u has microdermabrasion done, just removes the top layer of your skin, that wasnt what i was hoping for but more a gradual pigmant reduction |
You are NOT applying the products correctly. This is the routine you should be following. You do this entire routine morning and evening for 18 weeks.
MORNING
1. Cleanse
2. Tone
3. Clear (1/2-1 gram)
4. Exfoderm or Exfoderm Forte 1/2 gram
5. Sunscreen
EVENING
1. Cleanse
2. Tone
3. Clear (1/2-1 gram)
4. Mix 1/2 gram of Retin A with the Blender 1/2 gram, then apply to your skin.
You have not been on the system near long enough to see fading of pigmentation. I think you need to take the time and do some reading on how these products work, what to expect with each "phase" of your program, etc.
Here are 2 sites you can look at.

Glowgyrl,
Only 19 days and you're already seeing results?! That's incredible! Good for you!
The redness, for me, always got worse by the afternoon too. I'm just about to finish up 24 weeks and I still sport a rosy glow!
Blue Skies,
One cycle down! That's great too. After I ran out of the Obagi toner, I just purchased plain ole witch hazel from a drugstore. It will do just fine and save you some $$$ in the long run.
Take care, girls and keep us all updated! |
